Jarvee Import Users CSV 🤯

Hey all,

I couldn’t find a thread for this so hoping someone will have done this before and willing to share. We have a list of usernames we want to target through DM’s. I trying to import the usernames through the Jarvee contact tool but having no luck. I downloaded the export csv to see if I could reserve engineer but no luck. The group link seems the be the blocker! Does anyone know the secret to this?

Step By Step Tutorial

  • Go into Excel.

  • Paste the list into excel.

  • Type in the neighbour cell: =CONCATENATE(“specificuser/”;A1)

  • Drag it down to apply this to all values in your list

  • copy this list now

Go into Jarvee > Tools > Contact > Extract Users

You’re welcome  @nomad

Thank you  @sarahoodls

are you respecting properly the header of the csv?

Yes, I am using the export csv as the template for uploading

Another way to do this for those that are not as gifted in Excel or Sheets:

Use https://textmechanic.com/text-tools/basic-text-tools/add-prefixsuffix-into-line/
Paste your list in the first section:
In the Prefix section put in: specificuser/
Then hit the ‘add prefix/suffix’ button and your list will appear with " specificuser/USERNAMEHERE"

Like @asfgagasga listed:
Go into Jarvee > Tools > Contact > Extract Users

  • Paste your new list into jarvee
  • Hit the “Extract User” Button

Boom ya done. Make sure your syntax is good and then send them DM’s!

I have the same challenge but for facebook UIDs…
I have a list of Facebook UIDs I want to DM with Jarvee, what is the format for the file that should contain the UIDs to be imported from the file?
