Hey man, whats your new warmup strategy and do you make your accounts through jarvee?
Feel like i’m going through some of the struggles you were, accounts being banned, action blocks etc. i’m going super slow too. But they are accounts that I have been fast with at the start.
how are you finding the proxy? I got one from the same guy but its been down a few times in the last fortnight. So, not sure if I purchase another off him or try something else.
You can definitely gain followers for main from childs without DMs. I grow 700-800 weekly and don’t send a single one. I imagine DMs would work best manually instead of automating
I feel like what’s helping me a lot are the quality of my accounts. I’m testing a lot of things from buying accounts from someone else, to using accounts I made last year, to making fresh ones. You get a sense of how long accounts will last based off of how they act in the first 2 days. If an account is stuck in a loop, I switch accounts, and move on. More importantly, I run every scenario in my head what could have happened and make changes in the future. I’ve had problems with my proxies not working for a couple hours too, but my accounts are strong enough that the downtime can even help my accounts because it gives it some time to rest.
I definitely want to try this on other accounts in the future! That’s what I like about the M/S method. You cant beat the versatility and effectiveness.
Right now, neither. I want to focus only on DM’s because I want to pick exactly who I want to follow me. My focus right now is to maintain a high engagement rate.
That’s fair. I have a 11.5% engagement rate at 23k with mentions in bio and caption for child’s.
I guess if you’re automating, your scrapers and sources will determine engagement rate. Specifically whether the followers are coming from likers/commenters instead of merely followers of an account. In addition to whether the content is good
Yeah man. I just ordered five aged accounts two days ago and most have been in loops etc. I have a feeling I should let them go and stick to my original source of new accounts.
I do mentions in the bio and caption. I experimented with story mentions on child’s (solely for engagement for main). But I don’t think the story mention does much for me. I may revisit it again in a more rigorous manner.
Oh really? That’s unfortunate.
Also, have you tried the comment growth method? I could’ve sworn I saw someone mention it in here where you comment and then automate likes to get it to top comment? That could be an effective way to automate child accounts instead of DMs
You are talking about the IG mentions, and yes it works with a M/S setup, pretty well if you know how to automate it properly ; the con about this strategy, is that it won’t be effective if you’re not able to spot fast enough the post, and to cast 100+ like comments rapidly.
However, you can also use this technique to reach explore page easier, with mass comments from M/S. Powerful and very efficient
That’s pretty good man! I definitely plan on giving it a try in the future. I just want my accounts to age a bit first. When I had M/S on my account before, I was getting about 500 followers/day and it was cool in the beginning, but my engagement was hurting like crazy. Right now any followers I get, I’m even removing them if I feel they won’t fit my niche.
@BigJ You can surely give a try to his M/S strategy, but note that his growth is only given with 2 child accounts, growth that 100% of the users out there will never be able to reach, especially with only likes from 2 slaves. Many other factors play a role, do not forget it
That’s not true. A friend of mine tried out my strategy with only his main and gained 30-50 followers a day. My strategy is really dependent on the quality of the content on the main. So-so or mediocre content won’t cut it
The targeting was probably off if your engagement suffered. That’s great that you’re taking it into your own hands
We misunderstood each others : i am talking about M/S strategy here, especially from slaves which do only “Like” function. Actions on the main are not taken into consideration, as it’s not M/S.
Indeed, good quality content on main account, if this one do actions, high FBR. But the purpose here, is to let know beginners of the M/S strategy, that a few bunch of slaves doing only Liking, won’t get a crazy growth. I have very HQ pages (1000+ slaves), with thousands of followers for all of them, been experiencing every kind of actions one by one and together with them, on many different niches.
You easily find out the best actions : DMs > Follow > meaningful Comments > Likes > Story Views / Like comments. The more you mix them, the more you’ll reach a high FBR, of course !
Your strategy obviously works pretty well, for sure. But there are other factors around (as content quality, daily posts, engagement from your main…), that speed up the growth which won’t be able to reach such a number with only 2 slaves liking. That was my point. When we talk about a M/S system, we have to separate it from the main. Growth is always multi-factors, can be a lot variable from users, that’s why it’s important to separate factors ; in your case it’s great because you’re on positive, but i got some clients bleeding -100/day.
That’s well and good. But part of my strategy involves the main and M/S. I was very forthright about that. Whether it comes from the slave or the main, the goal is growth.
It can, if the content is good.
Those are the best actions… for you. DMs are difficult to automate, which is the consensus.
I agree. How would you recommend parsing out the various factors in a repeatable, measurable way? That seems an impossible task. The strategies either you or I implement don’t work in a vacuum on an account with no activity (posts, stories, DMs, comment replies, etc.)
However, I don’t want to turn @BigJ’s post into a discussion of my strategy
Indeed, when it comes to a single individual who expertise himself his growth, both are related. However, as i provide M/S, i have to separate the growth from the main account, as i can’t take it into consideration. Depends from which point of view hehe,
Sorry, i didn’t explain myself well again ; i was talking about the average %FBR (from an action, to a follow back). This is a kind of “rule”, some action will attract more follow back, from a given account to an other. For example, Story Views is the action that would probably convert the least into a follow back.
I would say it’s pretty simple, from the moment you get results.
You get results. You just need to scale it up @BigJ will at one point, get results. He will just need to scale it up.
Be ready to spend a bit of money guys, and find a setup that is able to scale up your strategy
No worries! I’m always open to listen to other people’s strategy. That’s how I got to where I am today with M/S.
For my wants and needs right now, DM’s is how I’m planning on converting my sources to followers. I have already been sending some out and they are converting! Just not all of them yet. One of the biggest headaches with M/S is scaling up, because the more accounts you add, the higher chances you have of Instagram thinking that they are all linked together. That’s why right now I’m staying away from tagging the main account in the bio/captions, tagging the main in photos, using hashtags, etc. Basically everything I’m doing is handwritten (except for spintax on my DM’s) and excluding @MAIN in anything. However, I do plan on testing more ways to make my method versatile.
