It doesn’t makes sense to me… If you hit top posts section for some of your hashtags, you’ll get more likes from non followers than your own (if you don’t have many of course)…

@alex7404 as Adnan said , the don’t have less value per se . Why do you think power likes do work ?

ok. let’s say you engage in a 100k+ EG. does having all the member following each others would make the likes more “strong” does your account have more authoritie if you have much 100k+ followers?

These metrics don’t make any sense . You compare apples with pears .

On the one hand you name an actually amount of followers but you forget the critical aspect - the engagement - and on the other hand you name a group of something where we do not know A) how many people are in there an B) what kind of engagement they have .

I highly recommend to go back to the drawing board for understanding these really important elemental metrics .

ok i’l make it less theoretical:
do a powerlike from an account with 300k is as powerful as an the same account but followed by many 500k account. no pears no apples
Does an account authority also depends of his followers strength and not only his number of followers? should make sense no?

Neither . It has to do with his engagement .

Also here again , it has to do with the engagement .

The times of “follower” growth are over since a long time already .

Engagement

What if the engagement is (partially) fake?

(I’m legitimately curious. Know a bunch of accounts using fake likes that I could have “power-like” my stuff but have never seen any crazy results from this.)

fake likes are not power likes .

just because you reach top 9 in hashtags does not mean crap. I have accounts doing that not getting followers ( many) from it. old Instagram is dead, it’s a new world. the most powerful single like is a follower in the fastest time, raising reach quickly. you may see big accounts do the live video saying…
‘type “return” line by line for a follow back’. minutes after posting. this raises engagement up the roof in the first 10 minutes hence more followers see it.
if a dead big account likes it, its good but really worthless. what is needed is real big accounts that are active, many of them.
now fake likes…avoid them like the plague. it might be good in the short term, long term is suicide because it actually lowers engagement from real followers over the course of the account.
