Hey guys decided to create a list of things that actually grows your account and things that do not work
for all the new people or people trying to figure out what works. If you guys have anything else to add just add it

Follow/ Unfollow - Best way to grow for a single account especially when you want to grow fast
Likes and comments - Slow growth and this method will give your account the best engagement
Mother slave method - if you are experience and have the money this way can help you grow extremely fast
hashtags - yes and no hashtags increase reach so more people can see your post but the growth from it now of days are little to none. Not many people search for hashtags anymore

Engagement groups - This doesn’t work because of the way the algorithm is set up Your followers have to engage with your account to see really good growth at this point it’s really just to keep up the engagement rate on a page Don’t know if it still helps with hashtags reach
Buying Fake followers/Likes - Only good if you want to look famous and not make any money
I posted a thread about record labels/managers doing this then throwing money into advertising to actually build a fanbase if you want to take this route give it a shot I also learned fake followers do not affect your account as much as people think. If that was the case I could buy a ton for someone I hate and mess up their account
Powelikes - it doesn’t not work at all now it worked back in 2015- mid 2018 I get the theory behind it but once saves and shares was included. also adding that your followers having to engage on your post this went down the drain cause then the algorithm started looking for more signals on your post to reach the explore page. This and engagement groups could possibly work but only if the accounts are following you

Yea hashtags give good reach but my main point with them is the growth from hashtags now of days are little to none you can probably get 50-100 followers a week on hashtags.
The M/S method right now could actually be the most efficient one. M/S not only avoids lots of action on your main account but also brings more ‘dedicated’ followers to the account.
You forgot to mention quality content. I’m sure that you know about the importance, but too often do I see people using quite sophisticated strategies to growth, and totally forget about the quality of their content. If you post photos people want to see, along with captions people want to read, that will go a long way. Then the strategies you laid out here really start to work.
@ELanimal , do you have any experiences in best practices to drive traffic from instagram to my website.
I have access to affiliate offers that convert well , just can’t drive enough traffic from instagram accounts to the landing pages.
Depending on what you are doing and what kind of page it is for instance if it is a personal brand or content creator page then inbound marketing is the best way for this type you put out so much entertaining content to but point where your followers are actively seeking out your profile then once or twice a week promote whatever you are selling to them
If it is more of a business page then I would suggest you run more then 1 account similar to the mother slave method but it’s main purpose is to promote your product. When running these you will use Dms, Stories, Bio links, Shout outs and posts every once in a while. DMs work best in my opinion on every platform but also use the others. Run 10 - 20 accounts for this because quantity is what works here 50 DMs from each account so 1k dms a day and 30k a month usually
my dms get around 8 percent click throughs and 6% sales but it will be different for each niche
I agree with most of the post but was wondering about engagement groups.
I still believe if you all had a telegram group and like/comment/follow eachother it still helps the post reach explore. I own a lot of single niche accounts and when I grow new ones, liking/commenting the new account’s posts definitely helps the reach
I put that in the original post under power likes they only work if the accounts are following each other that’s why I say grow a network of your own for engagement groups
I stupidly did this a year ago bought a couple thousand fakes for a competitor who was flagging my stories. Engagement grew a bit and now they look semi real while my account remains small shit backfired like a MF
I’ve had good success with female slave accounts. Girls love to repost inspirational quotes and funnies. A good profile pic and girly bio and you’re set for a good slave account.
