Hi guys,
A few weeks ago I came across an Instagram Ad with a clickable link that had a shitton of mentions .
So basically whoever did this ad is spamming mentions with Jarvee or IAM and using that strategy to redirect traffic to the url in the Ad .
Now what surprises me the most is that it’s a well known fact that when there are a lot of mentions spamming IG starts ghosting those comments, so basically they can only be seen by whoever commented .
However, with this particular ad this did not seem to be the case, as there were literally hundreds of comments with about 10 mentions each , all done from slave accounts .
Anyone has experience with this ?
Perhaps the age and quality score of the account which posted the ad matters ? It was an account with 10k+ followers .
