Any suggestions for closing clients , for marketers out of US , i am from india , and thanks to the spammers here , india has a kinda bad rep , perhaps a video call and a free trial for services would do the trick , but i am confused
Don’t fall in this trap. Offered my services for free to 3 customers for a month. They gave up when I told them about the money. It takes some time until you get to the good guys, but eventually you’ll find some.
Whenever I get hit with “spammers” in response, I tell them there are few categories of marketers and we are the good guys who saw potential in actually offering value to our services.

Intersting findings. I have scraped my news feed and extracted sponsored posts. 50% videos 50% images, every 6-7th post is sponsored. Many don’t even have IG account. Also, this one is interesting: https://www.instagram.com/p/BxR6qcBAFPo/
This is sponsored post. They paid a lot of money for the ad, but this post doesn’t appear in their profile, nor they have any posts…
This one is strange:
Even “Wrigley’s Extra” might be doing some blackhat… 
Their ad account probably got banned…
I will try to scrape 1k sponsored posts, let’s see maybe i will find some interesting data, maybe compare engagement rates of those ad posts and find out IG’s dirty tactics to get more money out of those biz accs

I still think nothing beats pounding the pavement and going to door to door to local businesses.
People don’t have guts to get out and do sales hand to hand combat anymore. If you do it, you’ll standout.
Hit 20 businesses a day and you’ll close at least 1 every day. Also the trust that you build by meeting people face to face is incredible. I’ve literally had zero turnover from clients that I have met in person and worked to build a relationship with.
Plus take a good camera with you and offer to create and edit content on the spot for free if they close with you that day.

Great method! Unfortunately I only have one sponsored post after the 6-7 posts in my feed and no more after that one.
However, I found out that the same thing can be done with stories :
- After watching the stories of 7-8 accounts there’s a sponsored story
- Exit stories and watch again the stories of 7-8 accounts to find another sponsored story
- Repeat
You can also re-watch the stories of the same accounts… you will get a sponsored story anyway!

I decided to use your advice for cold calling these businesses in the next few weeks. I think this can work amazingly because you have a very clear purpose which is very important with cold calls.
