Ok, I have just had an account get a recaptcha with a 24 hour check. I havn’t had one in months and when I did I usually just deleted it because it was just starting out. This account is a few months old, so would be good to keep it.
Does anyone have any idea on the process this goes through and how to avoid it in the future?
could it be DM related? @ossi@BigJ@Boris
update: another one just got hit too. turned off most of my accounts. something must be linking them
I usually had 24 hour check when I was “doing a lot at once”. I received these frequenctly when I was bulk changing bios on the same IP and sending multiple DM’s (after warmup). In the end, I think the problem came from bulk changing bios but I still edited my DM spintax just in case and I haven’t had any problems since.
So my suggestion would be to reset the modem to get a new ip, rest accounts at least 72 hours (if I get 24 hour check I usually just delete the account and move on), and update your spintax.
Think it was too late. I put the ones that were on wifi as inactive and turned off DM on my other accounts but yesterday they all got hit with the captcha apart from one, which was on API emulation.
So, Basically just had 20 accounts get murdered. few had 3-4k followers so i’m not sure what to do.
Could be the time to throw in the towel.
Honestly, when I had a chain of accounts getting captcha/24hr review (probably about 20) is when I really had an epiphany and made it all work. Your problem could have honestly came from one account and the fact that they were on the same IP is what made them all go down. Don’t quit yet. Keep going over every possible scenario and you’ll get it!
M/S is all about testing, investing and being prepared to get hit occasionally. 20 accounts honestly is peanuts but in your perspective it’s very understandable that losing them right now is a huge blow. As an M/S person you should be adding new accounts daily even just for testing and spread risk.
For me personally i have a very decent amount of accounts running on all different settings, all different proxies, all HQ selfmade, … so you know what works and what not. This way you’ll always be 1 step ahead when shit hits the fan. You’ll be able to trouble shoot faster when analyzing patterns.
Quitting because of this shouldnt be an option (unless you’re already past that limit), rather should you keep building. I read someone’s bio once, cant recall who but that was exactly my view on it. If IG kills 1 account, I’ll replace it with 2 instead.
The bigger you scale the harder the loss. Get used to it. I remember years back almost pulling my hairs out when losing accounts. Taking it personal, wanting to quit. Dont do that. Fight back. You get used to it over time.
If you’re on different proxies you have to search for your issue elsewhere. Either bad accounts (with footprints tieing them together) or bad settings (which IG flags resulting in a captcha + pv)
I suggest you should make it a habit to make x accounts daily (at any time you can replace dead ones, test new strats, test limits,…) even if you dont need them per se. I advise to run at least some extra accounts just for testing. And use the ‘tag’ feature to your advance. I use a ton of tags so i can troubleshoot more quickly when needed. I know exactly when and how an account was created, i know exactly which warmup,…
Either way there is no downside to mass produce when done correctly. You can only benefit from it
Also diverseify your settings as much as you can until you find a sweet spot. No one but you (unless our setup would be 100% identical) can tell you the sweetspot apart from the usual advises of warmup. Troubleshoot for things that link them (might be bad settings, might be bad account creation,… ). It’s not because you dont get instant blocked/banned that they are fine. Also, dont cut corners. You’ll be doing a longer run after all. Question every step, setting,… you make. Use common sense when botting.
All these factors make m/s expensive. It’s not just plug and play
I have 4 accounts per 4g modem proxy and try get them starting and finishing at different time. The proxies are $40us each so would cost me a fortune to run 100 accounts with one proxy each. Been having no issues with any accounts for months and all of a sudden they get hit.
Was thinking that it could be dm related, but one was hit and never sent a dm @oneoneseven
4g are NOT the holy grail when all else is bad. You can still fuckup with 4g’s and do great with ipv6 or 4. It’s all things together that make it work.
So is multiple proxies at different times ok for 4g modem proxies? They are super expensive to run at 1:1
I tried using cheaper ones but they didnt work
I’ve begun buying aged and warmed-up accounts from a bhw seller and set them up using the EB on jarvee. Since then, each one has been doing 200-250 follows per day with no issues whatsoever.
I think the reason all my previous accounts kept getting blocked was due to a noob mistake I had done super early. I used my actual personal phone to log into each account and change the bio + profile pic + username. That was before I had even learned of proxies and whatnot.
I’m now confronted with issue of whether I need to get rid of my mother account and replace it with another one. I haven’t really poured much into it yet and I’ll only really be losing about 150 followers by getting rid of it. Even though I don’t plan on automating the mother, I’m afraid that since I’ve used my personal handphone to log into it, it is now been “marked” which could potentially pose as an issue later down the road.
Seeing as how I’m seeing a bit of success now, before I start scaling the operation and driving all that traffic to the mother, I’m seriously considering just getting a new account for good measure. But I’m just not sure how to override this early mistake I had made early on. I need to use my phone to keep the account active but I’m not sure what I can do to clear my phone’s IP/cache from instagram‘s servers. And I’m not sure using a VPN would be an immediate solution. What if I forget to turn it on prior to using instagram? Now I end back in the same place with the algorithm associating the mother with the IP used to log into a bunch of botted accounts.
I know it was a stupid mistake but does anyone have any suggestions for as to how I can fix this? And whether I should even be worried about it?
You guys may be right but I’m okay with losing some accounts to see what the absolute upper limit would be.
Could you please advise me on the latter portion of my post? Do I replace my mother account if it’s been associated with the same IP address the bots were logged in on?
I’m just afraid it might hamper my growth in the long term if it’s already been flagged under suspicion of being involved with a bot network. But how would I even go about dissociating the new account from it since I used my phone?
Keep your mother account totally safe and on a different Ip from the bots, otherwise you have a chance where all your accounts get linked and will be banned.
How do I circumvent that if I had already used my phone to log into them?
I obviously need my phone for continual updates to the page but I’m afraid my personal phone’s IP is now flagged, including my personal IG account. I want to get rid of it entirely and operate my new mother account on a completely different IP. How do I go about doing that?
