My 2 cents on how to use scrappers keeping the costs low

This is just based on my experience of using the scrapers. I send close to 2 million DMs a day and hence my scrapping needs are really high. This is what I believe will make the scrappers live longer

  1. Its a widespread idea that we need to use 2-4 scrappers per main, so that we make the scrappers live longer. I believe that using lesser scrappers is more cost effective. We need to understand that scrappers are doing something which instagram doesnt approve of. So once they are logged in and do a certain number of actions, they are counting their days already and hence they will die in a few days even if you dont do any more actions on them. So a better idea would be to do as many actions as possible with fewer scrappers. I usually have mains to scrappers in the ratio of 2:1. Which means, for every 100mains, I only have 50 scrappers. This will work just fine. If you dont believe me, try this for a day! We wont mind 50 scrappers burning out after a day rather than 400 burning out after 2-3 days! Forget about all the delay settings! You may still want to have delays if the errors exceed a certain value. But dont bother about the number of API calls

  2. Using scrappers 1:1 on DC is costly and is not as good as using 40 scrappers on a rotating mobile proxy! A cost effective way as well as a way to make your scrappers last longer is, buy a mobile proxy which rotates every 1-2 mins and put 40 scrappers on them. You wont have any problems! Again, if you dont belive me, take a trial from one of the proxy providers and test a few scrappers

I was thinking something similar: why am I trying to protect scrapers if they’re just going to die within the week?

I was thinking about testing few scrapers to push them to work from 0-24 with highest api calls to do as much work as possible and then just remove them from Jarvee and use the data to grow main accounts. What do you think?

been messing about with the api limits and delays but actually barely any last past 24h annoyingly… Mobile proxy test is due I think.

I understand your point of view since scrappers are going to die anyway make sure to use them to the extreme in a short period of time before they get banned, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t keep them alive for a longer period using the delay tools and API limits, I have been doing that and it’s working perfectly for now :crossed_fingers:t2:

Interesting point of view and interesting strategy  I think that still most of us are trying to keep some kind of stable flow and save and keep scrapers for as long as possible.

A couple of months ago I lost a scraper account. But all others still work fine. Scraper acocunts really do not have to die…

are u serious? how on earth do u send that much.

Not everyday! But on somedays, I do send upto 2 mil DMs. On a normal day, atleast 500k DMs. How> Its not that hard once we have enough accounts and I am in the account creation job!

tips on doing that would be appreciated  I just burned 10 accs in 2 days for 1 main and it’s getting frustrating. Don’t want to throw shade on the sellers but this kinda sucks. And all I did was like 50 likes warm up.

Dont do likes at all. they burn accounts pretty fast. Again, based on my experience. Others might have a different opinion

if it’s scraping - it’s the same process whether its likes or follows, no? In terms of finding which accounts to add.

If you have the right api limits setup with 4 scrapers per account most should survive. One gets delayed, another comes in and takes its place etc.

Over a month id say only 20% of my scrapers need replacing. Ive had some that have lasted 6 months and still going strong.

If your sending 100-200 dms per account/ day this may not work. But it works well for people running small setups.

My biggest problems with bought scrappers is that even though I remove the original phone number and add email, most of the time when they get verified, there is only option for the verification code to go to the original phone number which I have no access to… If there is a way to avoid that, it will keep my costs low.

Add another phone number  There are websites where you buy a special IG verification number  For 0.15 $

I already have 20 numbers with speedyverify. I will give it a try, thanks.

yeah instead of throwing shade on sellers I think you should create 4-5 scrappers from a good API and see if the same happen in 2 days it’s most likely your settings, you can share your settings here and we might be able to help.

Name of the provider?

I don’t know if I can give it here.

You can DM anytime
