I think that messaging people works if you have the right approach… meaning that you don’t have to be too much in their face. I’ve posted Cost per Lead offers so far in groups… worked well up until i got banned. Somebody might have reported me.
If some stranger would message me, the only way that I would click is if that someone isn’t trying to sell me something. It should provide value and be trustoworthy so that I can feel safe to check it out.
(Some people might be more trusting than others, though.)
