My first tiktok reached 1k views with 300likes then the views stopped growing. I uploaded a few more videos, those videos only got about 200-300 views (one got 23 which I deleted) someone can tell me why I’m getting so low views despite posting good content and how I can get my views up
Those view counts alone can’t show why TikTok stopped distributing the first video, and the 23-view video doesn’t prove an account restriction or weak content either.
For a small test, make your next four videos on a similar topic at roughly the same length. Keep the format and pacing constant, but show the payoff in the first frame of two. Compare average watch time and completion rate with the other two and with your recent videos. If the payoff-first openings consistently retain more viewers, use that opening again. If retention stays similar despite different view counts, don’t blame the hook yet; the view count alone isn’t enough signal.
