Need advice on where to go with travel IG account

My travel account has finally hit 30k followers, thanks to f/uf (as well as an improvement in my photography). Engagement is still high but that’s likely because I participate in some Facebook like/comment groups in my niche.

When looking at my insights, it’s clear that I receive very few followers from my posts and I never have Explore impressions listed.

Is hitting Explore in the travel niche super competitive? Or is it likely impacted by f/uf?

Basically wondering if it’s time to stop f/uf and grow in another way. Thanks!

How many of these engagement groups do you participate in? This is one of the problems people forget to talk about in regards to using engagement groups- inflated numbers.

I typically participate in one group and it accounts for around 15 comments and 200 likes I receive, out of ~ 2k.

Another method would be the mother/slave. I’m betting on you being familiar with automation software… basically create a few more accounts in your niche with similar content… grow those with f/uf and then dm new followers with a tag to your main account. Keeps your main safe as well.
I’m not using this method at the minute but will be shortly. If you want more info on it there are plenty of threads on the forum that I’m planning on utilizing… try searching through them.

ull find more help there :v:

Grow with Fuelgram fuelgroups, they have a great travel niche slot.

This should definitely help you - if the other accounts are of “good quality” (e.g. they didnt buy followers / likes etc.). So, yes, maybe its time to stop f/u for now and to focus more finding a quality EG. I know one that is quite good, some members have even 90k+ followers, many are below 10k. Its for free, if you are interested, feel free to send me a PM. Otherwise maybe @LisaJ’s advice is also interesting for you…

@LisaJ:

may I ask you: how many participants are in the travel EG and do you think most of the members are of oggd quality?
Thank you for the info :slightly_smiling_face:

Fuelgram is probably the LAST thing i usually suggest to use… not really good on the long term engagement level…

tried with soooo many accounts
