Not sure whether you guys experience this or not…
I am always scraping for username with the option check “Do not follow private users”
So one I was just checking the username that the scraper scrape, I realize many private users is being scrape even when the option “Do not follow private users” is turn on…
Anyone of you experiencing this?
Is there any way to check if they changed to private after the scrape? Not saying this is the case necessarily, but it’s possible depending on how recently and how often it happens.
Just did a small test. JV returns no more results when it’s asked to scrape followers of a target account that has only two private users as followers which means the filter is working. In the extracted users all scraped users so far are public users, no private user was scraped. How many users do you scrape on each operation? and how long is the wait time?
That scraper did around a week scraping or so… And I check the username in the specific user section … And realize there’s private user in it lol
