"Page not available" for any page

Long time lurker here and just trying to find an answer to the most bizarre occurance. For some reason, I am unable to view most TikTok pages/videos/profiles/etc because it always says Page Not Available or sometimes it says “Something went wrong”. This goes for any browser I try on my laptop as well as my any VPS machine I try to visit tiktok with. Doesn’t matter if I am logged in or not. Doesn’t matter about cookies because I tried on a new VPS install and still always get either “Page Not Found” or “Page not available”. But when it does work is sometimes when I click a link from within the page of tiktok.com. For example I can usually view this page: https://www.tiktok.com/foryou
But then 50% of the time if I click any link, such as a hashtag link: https://www.tiktok.com/tag/friends
Sometimes it displays as expected, sometimes it shows this: https://prnt.sc/u7npc1

Other things to consider:

  1. No browser addons installed.
  2. No settings disabled like cookies/etc.
  3. Browser console(both firefox/chrome) usually show many CSP errors but that is nothing I can change as CSP is set server side. I even disabled CSP just to see if it changed anything and I don’t believe it did.
  4. I have tried in both Private/Incognito modes and regular browser modes.
  5. Not related to my IP address because I have tried multiple clean residential IPs and no change.

I cant figure out if it is an outtage of some kind with TikTok OR something else…???

Am I really the only person unable to view TikTok from a browser? I am curious if any of you are able to load a simple page such as this in your desktop/laptop browser: https://www.tiktok.com/@willsmith

I am having the same issue as you and it’s driving me crazy. People send me links to tiktok, which I usually can view no problem, but if I click a link on the page, or try to view a video in the recommended section, I 100% of the time get the same blank “Page not available” error page.

I use Firefox 81.0.2 (64-bit)

I don’t follow anyone on tiktok either. I have a fresh account and I can’t seem to do anything except view a video that someone sends me a link to.

I have the exact same problem. Can’t view a single page, and can’t find a solution anywhere. Very aggravating.

I’m just glad I’m not the only one :rofl:

For what its worth, TT is now working. no idea what the problem was.
