Problem with linking Facebook page with Instagram Account; Connection failed

Hello,

I have a problem for quite some time. I am trying to link a Facebook page to my Instagram account, but somehow it does not succeed. I have tried it in the Instagram app itself, which does not work.

When I try to link the Instagram via the Facebook page settings, that works. But once I try to ‘review the account connection’, that does not work for me. It says “connection failed”.

Does someone know the solution to this? I have this problem for ages, but can’t find a solution.

Try enabling two-factor authentication on your Facebook account, once it’s enabled try to link the account to IG again, see if it works. I saw on reddit this solution worked for some users.

Seems like there was a problem with the FB account, not neccessarily with the IG accounts. T hank you all for the help!

I had that problem too. try to do it from a mobile device - should be working.

Try to give it a few days to rest and then log in with a different phone :slight_smile:
