I’m running both, haven’t had a problem with either and they’re both providing the same results. I am however new to 4g proxies and it does not fit with the client management program I have built - So they are more time consuming to set up for me at the moment.
From my testresults i feel like mobile proxies are slower aswell. Buying accounts (even setting them up through the actual IG app first and then attaching them to software) hasnt been a succes, they die within a couple of days on mobile proxies or are stuck on regular Pv’s. Self made has been a 50/50 success or maybe at best 75% success. I felt like for slaves it was sooo much easier for IG to detect connections between the accounts since they rotate on the ‘same’ mobile proxies causing them CONSTANT Pv’s. Not all but some have been very bipolar setting up with PV’s.
The cost can be reduced. My biggest issue it seems is just PV triggers since multiple slaves are on the same mobile IP which makes it for IG a piece of cake to figure that out. Although I must say it seems (havent tested it a lot though since i hate switching IP’s) that those accounts that were on DC’s for a long while seem to have no issues of blocks once transfered to mobile proxies. So seems like when the account is somewhat aged IG all of a sudden makes no issue of it having slaves connected with the same mains.
Yeah look, I am not a fan of running multiple accounts on the same proxy, though I haven’t tried to run more than 3 (not more than 1 on DC). 4G is definitely slower (and more unstable), but that’s the nature of 4G to be honest - Even my phone cuts out / is slow depending on the connection in the area.
I do not doubt that 4g proxies work really well for some people (better than DC), but for me they are the same as DC for the time being (with the added hassle until I update my program).
I run at max 3 on a DC. Usually 2. Some are still at 1 per proxy. Can’t seem to find any different between it.
I do think Mobile proxies are the bomb for actual personal or business account that are aged, used, differentiating with manual actual phone actions, …
Growth speed has 0 to do with the type of proxy. Not sure if you understand how growing accounts works.
Regarding having PV or EV on slaves, that’s absolutely another topic. Yes if you log 10 acc at same time form the same IP will trigger PV or EV that’s common sense. The best you can do is use 1 Ipv4 for each slave for avoiding mass PV or EV when mass logging your slaves, or if you use mobile proxies delay the log in of each acc few hours (or till the IP rotates).
In any case, this text below makes no sense at all.
@Noirorion What i meant with growing better is avoiding blocks, PV’s and EV’s which i seem to be having on mobile proxies and not on DC’s when i add and slow warm them up the same way. Since PV’s and EV’s and even bans will eventually slow down or even just cripple growing slaves properly right? So that’s why i felt like mobile proxies werent the ideal thing to start a slave accounts. I’m running 250 ish accounts right now (all slaves) and since the issues with IG I’ve started exploring the mobile proxy world to see how it would work with my M/S method yet I’ve been experiencing bans and PV’s left and right which i didnt have much at all doing all the same with DC proxies.
I edited my statement. Working with slaves means you somehow have to connect back to your mains (unless you only do DM’s and not with tags and mentions, …) and i feel like it’s getting more issues no matter how the account is created, bought, set up, … on mobile proxies than on DC’s. I’m actually testing it right now as all newly created slaves are running without ANY PV trigger on DC’s with the same setup. With mobile proxies they were super unstable and some got PV’s right within the first hours of setup. Not all but some, seems like russian roulette.
Why you got blocked on mobile proxies and not on DC.
The only reason I can imagine, right now, is a “proxy settings” issue.
Managing a DC proxy is very simple. Rule of the 1:1 ratio.
Managinf a mobile proxy can be tricky, as you need to set up different shifts, with pauses & play, and be really carefull about each and everyone of the slaves is actually doing on each proxy. The more your mobile ratio “1:X” will be important, the more you’ll get trouble with blocks, EC & EV.
So, from an outsider perspective without any knowledge about your current settings, I would suggest you to start your mobile proxies with 1:4 to start of, as a 2 - 2 rule for the day and night spreading.
Last but not least, don’t hesitate to give us more informations about your current set-up, in order to be more understandable my friend.
And try to make sure to verify if your mobile proxy is a real mobile proxy with different IP rotating (checkip),
And if yes, you might have to change the provider. I tried a few providers, and still testing others. Some aren’t recommandable, from my own experience at least !
