I didn’t really solve it, it sort of solved itself…
I was able to eventually get SMS on roughly 90% of accounts about 1-3 weeks later.
Just hang in there and try again later

I have exactly the same issue too.
Real sims, accounts from different sources, on different IPs
And SMS doesn’t come for few days…
Maybe IG have issue with their SMS verification system
Probably. I got the SMSs the next day
Seems like I have a problem receiving email verification from IG after registration, I did it a few times before using Memu and with no problems… Now it’s been two hours and the EV hasn’t arrived yet (I checked the spam too), and it doesn’t arrive even when I try resetting my password.
Though I can log in to the new account and sign out and it works just fine…
I’m using a new @yahoo.com email address.
Anyone had such experience before?
Usually a sim can be used to verify two accounts in a short space of time and then Instagram stops sending sms messages to that number if used with the third account (perhaps an abuse protection mechanism). I am not exactly sure what that blackout time period is but the same sims start working in 2-3 weeks (based on experience).
