Question about shoutouts

Hey guys, i have 0 experience with paid shotouts.
Lets say i buy shotout from 1m page, with average 40k likes per photo, how many new followers should i expect?

I know it varies, im just interested on average follow ratio from shotout.

it could be a miss and hit experience trying to gain new followers through shoutouts, there’s a few variables in play

  1. is the account doing shoutout to you in the same niche as yours? are your contents similar?

  2. how good is that 1M account? are those 40K likes real engagements or fake ones?

  3. how good is your own account

I know it can be miss and hit. I only need some info about other users experience. idk if i should expect to gain few % (1-3%) of followers this 1m account have, or way lower numbers like 0.X%.

  1. Not same niche, but my accs is fan acc of famous person so it may have hig follow back ratio.

It’s worth trying if it isn’t expensive. At least you’ll know how good it will work for you. If you get decent No of followers, you can buy couple of more shoutouts.

If not, well, consider it like you paid to find out what doesn’t work - what type of account you shouldn’t buy shoutouts from.

When you do shoutouts you should consider a lot more values for example one of my analytics software outputs data like this:

total media: 7077

avg video views (worst 20%): 2109 ( 0.2% )
avg video views (worst 40%): 2794 ( 0.2% )
avg video views (best 40%): 4298 ( 0.4% )
avg video views (best 20%): 8596 ( 0.8% )
avg video views (best 5%): 30730 ( 2.7% )
avg video likes: 262 ( 0% )
avg video likes (worst 5%): 275 ( 0% )

This is easy comparable to other accounts and will yield you better shoutout results.

I agree with @Adnan. Worst that could happen is you don’t get decent results, but you gain knowledge of what to expect going forward. Maybe even try to do some split testing. See which thread yields the most results, and that will let you know that you can pursue it more heavily.

i didnt buy any shout outs yet, but i want to
i did a research he goes like this

i go to shout outer page and searching for shoutout post
then i copy the name of the dude who bought the shoutout
i go to socialblade and search him up
looking at the same date the shout outer post the shout out
then i can see how many new followers he gain at this day and the next after
