[Question] Selling On Instagram Tech Niche

Hey everyone. I’m new to mpsocial but it seems like a cool forum.
now I know that my account @total.tech might only have 1600 followers but I’m thinking for the future
so I see all these accounts giving away ebooks or a live webinar etc but I feel like that would be hard since im in the tech niche

Is there a different route that I should take for making money off this specific techa account.
I’m 15 years old and just trying the way to Instagram.

Thanks,
Zack

i see your account selling a subscription to info or something… rather than actual products…

So you could put together your posts of the last month or week, in a magazine. With a bit more elaboration and detail… and sell that as it is. The content is already there.

And then you can delete your old posts so you can sell the backisssues of it too.

just thinking out loud.

i’d also suggest writing the text in lower case… All capitals makes it slower to read.

Hey bro thanks for the reply…
I’m going to change the text in my post to lowercase from now on

How do you think I could go about selling a subscription or something like that

In the back of my mind I was thinking about doing affiliate marketing somehow but I know instagram doesn’t allow that

the subscription thing is a great idea tho! thanks

ur welcome.

to sell it, id make isntagram stories talking about relative news… then adding a call to action to subscribe to your newsletter.

So, i wouldnt even do webinar or free ebook since they get a taste already from your posts.

so, either go straight to an offer if ppl like your stuff… or sweeten the deal somehow

Ex: by offering a 12 month upfront payment package… with a few bonuses if you can.

good luck and let us know how this goes buddy.

The account looks nice, I really like the posts format.

@tripleyourtribe says you should write in lower case, but tbh, it looks just fine this way. More elegant I would say.

About monetization…

It’s too early to try making money out of this account, 1600 followers isn’t a lot, but I’m sure you’ll get more since you’re doing great job so far.

At later stage, when you hit 10K or 20K make a website in tech niche with product reviews, latest cool gadgets and use affiliate links to earn some $$$, but still keep posting great content with useful info. In the end, you can put something like “check latest cool gadgets - visit website in our profile”… you get the point, right?

Whenever you don’t know how to monetize something: sell t-shirts.
Always, even if your account is about coffin makers.
Sell t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, everything.

Posts format looks fine to me as well, no need to change it. You’ve built some unique style, just go with it.

About the monetization, @Adnan is right with the website, that is legit safest white-hat way which may not bring you instant income, but hard work and constant updates will set you up for a good long term income. Though, you would have to work a lot more on the website and maybe mix in with different traffic sources, ultimately aiming for organic ranking as well. Nevertheless, you will have the initial traffic from Instagram.
I could just add that you could also start building an email list, maybe compile some useful info in an e-book, or find some good resource online that you would give out for free in exchange for an email ( http://privatelabelresellrights.net/ had nice free products up for reselling or giving out, but I see their website is offline now, maybe it’s just temporary; you could find some similar sites online, you can even use torrents if you are not worried about copyright issues). Later that email list could be used to promote various affiliate offers. Of course, if you only spam them with emails with offers you would lose the subscribers, so send them useful emails with useful info, and in between them throw in an affiliate product.

On the other hand, the faster method would be to create more accounts, grow them all with automation, redirect a CPI offer to a custom landing page and throw in link of the landing page in the accounts’ bio after the accounts are sufficiently grown. This may bring you better income short term, but the risks of bans are pretty high, you would have to navigate through lots of traps that Instagram has put (and is putting every day) to reduce automation + CPI.

Very nice Zack.
In my opinion as a visitor,
I think you should shorten some texts,
and make people curious like: " Do you know that…bla bla bla".

Keep going :muscle:
