In the last few weeks I bought several IG pages, and what caught my eye is that socialblade shows a limited period of certain pages.
I don’t know if it’s clear - basically although some pages are 1 year old, socialblade seems to show only the last 2 months of their activity - starting out their tracking not from 0 but from a 10K, 20K, 50K, or whatever.
How is it possible?
My opinion is that since nobody look for their track on socialblade, so socialblade itself crawls these pages once they already hit a good amount of followers. Does it make sense?
Socialblade starts tracking accounts only after someone tried to look at the statistics. So if an account is 1 year old and Socialblade only shows the last 2 months of activity it means that 2 months ago someone tried to look at the statistics for the first time.
They are other pages as socialblade, and sometimes if you dont find stats @socialblade you may find them on other pages as https://www.influencerdb.net/
I am using mainly socialblade, as influencerdb is restricted (you have to register otherwise you can see only one stat/acc. per day). But I am sure there must be some alternatives “out there” as well as:
