Hello,
I’ve searched the forum for quite long time but nobody answered that question yet:
Is there any chance that Instagram algorithm might lower your reach when you put the same website link on 30 accounts?
If so, it would be fairly easy to lower the competitions reach right?
Is there a reason to put different links on each account, or it’s just a myth coming from the “common sense logic” instead of tests?
I have 30 accounts with the same link for 4 years and I know that I get sales from all of them, but I wonder if doesn’t limit the reach and I’m not missing something? I plan to put the other link on 200 accounts, but I think that putting “bridge links” would lower the trust score for my customers.
it does not matter how many people use this link in their biography, but what is the site. The site should contain a home page, blog, contact, privacy policy, terms, etc. thanks to this is more trusted
I have heard from many that with a larger website host like YouTube, Spotify etc., you are able to use the same link in many bios. However, I think it is risky. So I don’t do this. What I do is use linktree! The basic version is free, and it’s super easy to make a linktree account through the embedded browser of the account you want to use it for. You can use the same email that is attached to that instagram account as well. It’s a bit time consuming but I’m my opinion it is worth it to ensure the safety of your accounts and links.
It might be a b it strange but whenever I did post links I have noticed a lower reach of my profile (around 8000 views per week as opposed to around 12000). Again its just one large account I had this situation on so its hard to say if it always affects it.
using the same link across multiple accounts doesnt have any impact on the egagement! i have been using my store link on 50 child accounts and never noticed droprate of engagement on my store profile. it may hurt your account if you link is for a blackhat or suspecious website.
No worries bro, I know a lot of situations that they use same link for the bio.
Example, people who run accounts for Affiliate Marketing for Amazon they have to put amazon link on their bio accounts. And you will see a lot of user put the same domain links.
Sometimes, It depends on domain trust score, in the past I used to get ban after 15 minutes with 30 accounts use the same domain link (because I use spin edit, and update link for 30 accounts so fast and my domain age is kind of just 3 months).
So I would like to prefer using prelander like Linktree, maybe it makes lower Conversion Rate but It’s safe for your accounts.
With Engagement Rate, I don’t think putting same link in bio can make accounts are lower Reach.
Good luck.
You can use the same link for as many accounts as you want…
Imagine… that people put in theirs accounts the link to Youtube, video clip of Madonna. They will never be banned for that…
The main idea is where this link goes. In case you have something “strange” with the destination website - account will be banned even if this account was the only one using the link.
