Same link in multiple stories

Having issues with the same link in multiple stories.
Read through a bunch of threads here and can’t seem to find an answer.
I was having the same link in two separate IG accounts stories, one would post 3 hours before the other one and the link would stay active and clickable in that story until the other account would post its story with the same website link and then the original link that was posted in the first story would no longer be there!

My question is ( without testing it myself and running the risk of getting banned ) is, am I able to use bit.ly links in stories that go to the same website?

Cheers

I never tried this myself. But I do know that posting a direct link to a website or using a bit.ly link pointing to the same website makes no difference. IG follows the links.

Yeah that’s what I thought. Well it turns out removing the link from the other accounts story has had no effect.
It’s still not posting the link.
Damned if I know why.

Yeah, the trivial bitly type of redirects are no good. I use a super simple prelander on separate domains that has links that all lead to the same url eventually. Haven’t had a problem using the same URL outside of some PVs, but it requires some setup.

Thanx Mojojojo, I have heard of the prelander domain technique before but haven’t researched it as yet.
I have 6 main accounts now instead of the 200+ I used to have, got sick of verifies and account creation, really took the shine off the ball for me being that I am a designer that does all my own graphics, printing and airbrushing and that is where my passion is!
I am attempting now to just focus on building my 6 whilst using MP and knuckling down to find the most effective way without 200+ accounts with all the verifying crap that goes along with that.
I gave Aditya’s method a go for a while but as I said it took the shine off the ball for me.

I am a maniac right now with catching up on all the threads I have missed and the updates after a year long hiatus after being defrauded via fake credit card transactions on my shopify store, lost me mojo I did Mojojojo, Hee hee.

All the best mate.

Good luck! There are lots of good thread in here.

If you have any questions about something specific, do drop me a PM and if there is something I can help it, it shall be done

Cheers buddy, appreciate that.

Unfortunately this sort of answer was what I expected as I am searching to find out if I can do this myself. Is anyone able to confirm if this issue would apply to all website links (e.g just any normal website page) or is it more an issue for money links and product pages? As I would only be linking to websites for promo and not CPA links.
