I responded to something a little while ago and when I saw that someone replied to it I couldn’t see what the person responded because it was moved to level 2… this can be really frustrating for people so I’m proposing that if a post gets upgraded a level, everyone who previously posted on that topic, no matter the level, should be able to continue to view that topic.
Hi! I know it’s frustrating but it isn’t quite as simple as that. Unfortunately, there are things that cannot be discussed publicly. So, when someone mentions something that can’t be spoken about in the public parts of the forum, someone will automatically move it to a private area. Because of this, it wouldn’t be possible to implement your request. In time, you will make it to level two and you will understand a bit more about it.
In the mean time, let me know which topic you are speaking about. I can PM the member who posted something that cannot be public and ask them to edit their comment, and then I will move to back to level one, if you’d like.

@jmarie Thanks for this clarification. This is the most informative forum I have been a member of and I feel like everyone is really trying to help 
Just a quick question:
How long after meeting the Level 2 requirements does it take to be granted Level 2 status?
(I have met all the requirements, including responding to over 150 different topics)

I wish there was lvl1.5. Takes a LONG time to get there. I’m persisting though and trying to help everyone.

I had a similar experience recently and it was super unfortunate because the discussion we had was super valuable but then it got moved to level two. If you think about it though it’s a good thing because the truly valuable stuff won’t be easily accessed by the public so things won’t be patched and will be more consistent. Plus it gives us more motivation to reach LV2 
do other forums like bhw have the same type of level system to keep information secret?
Yes, safety is important especially when G, FB, etc watch these forums there has to somewhere with restrictions to who can enter otherwise the methods would not work.
Give back to the community and they will give back to you. Don’t just read.

Yes. In fact I hope stuff gets moved from level 2 to level 3 on a regular basis. Always learning
