Should we avoid posting multiple times a day?

thank you my friend, yes you should give it a try and see how it goes there are many variables these days so tests are always on our sides.

  1. No, new posts don’t kill reach providing you get enough engagement on each photo (otherwise the Premier League, ESPN, and the NBA are screwing up). You’ll have to test whether you get enough engagement on multiple posts with 180 followers - only you will know.
  2. Probably doesn’t vary across niches. Check the big meme pages or other huge accounts, plenty do this.
  3. If you need to reach a specific audience through hashtags - use the hashtags that give you the best results. The usual hashtag rules apply about not spamming them.

Try to check if you were shadowbanned. It might be the case.

Yes, those are some good points.

yes, but those are big accounts they can post multiple times and users will interact with them because they give value don’t you think?

Yep, I agree.

I think you also have to be able to create enough valuable and engaging content, which is much easier for a multi-billion dollar sports league

From what I’ve seen and experienced, posting multiple times a day increases your odds of reaching more people. The algorithm will show it to the right people who follow you and beyond. No need to think as if your account is the only account in your followers’ newsfeed.

Edit:
Here’s some food for thought about the posting frequency topic:

And relevant to your hashtag strategy:
