Someones a bit salty

And she disabled the comments on that video lol
That’s how you know when you are on the side of righteous indignation, when you need to silence your own audience :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, the girl is right, although I don’t like her ‘presentation’.
She could tell everything in a much nicer way, so the brands become 100% aware of this situation.

I’m using MP for different purposes and as a business/brand owner I don’t want to work anymore with “influencers”.
It’s usually a waste of time and money could be spent wisely.

But, if you just use the bot to build your accounts and sell them afterwards I don’t think you could understand our side or give a sh*t.

Back to the girl… She is probably just jealous of the other guys who came to those events without much effort. Still, a message for brands should be clear.

Hot girl :zipper_mouth_face: I wish I had a girlfriend who was interested in this.

I agree with her points about it being fraud, but then again some of us have committed similar acts in the past with automation, so my judgement is clouded.

Anybody trying to make a living through brand deals and collaboration has a right to be mad at those who buy fake followers and engagement, because it is fraudulent when they’re bought. I wouldn’t say automation is fraudulent, it’s just gaming the system a bit, as you could technically do it manually if you had the free time.

Influencers are mostly bullshit in general, but ultimately, brands are catching on to the fake followers thing, which is why engagement means more than follower numbers, or will mean more when it becomes the norm. But then what’s next? How “real” is your engagement? Are people going to verify each account that has commented? Probably not.

It’s just her way of attention grabbing.

Her IG stats are kind of suspect as well.

It’s probably also her paid promotion for sway ops.

I need to sit down and watch this video but she went after social envy in the description. Social envy appear to be huge and yet she goes after them and presumes that they are a botting company. For all we know it could be 25 low paid third world employees doing some stellar work on accounts.

Found the CEO of Social Envy.

haha I wish. Still need to learn a bit more about proxies before I start my own IM journey thread.

Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

If she is doing an “exposed” video and all she cares about is justice - don’t monetize the video, don’t put your affiliate links in the description and don’t linkbait the title. Though her point might be valid (not 100% sure of that), she is making a shit ton of money from this so one cannot trust her reasoning for posting such a video.

She’s literally taking money out of her pockets with this video. Does she not think that brands will also be suspect of her now? Also, brands still can benefit from working with accounts who buy followers, likes, comments, etc. because there’s always going to be some organic growth on profiles with large numbers due to ranking in the top 9 section for hashtags and getting recommended when someone follows a similar account. Buying followers, likes, comments, etc. is just faking it until you make it.

PS: I don’t recommend buying followers, likes, comments, etc. if anyone is wondering- I just 100% understand the mindset of the people who do fake their following at the beginning.

@Smylie not necessarily. Theirs good psychology behind trust if YOUR the person that rats out the other people, brands or whomever she’s after will trust her more.

The thing is, despite her beauty, she’s very skin deep. It’s all about ME and how others who cheated the system (or by being smart and using automation) are getting her perks and even more than she is.

It’s funny to watch, but I don’t have time to watch a 15 minute bitching session.

If it was more constructive, like “hey advertisers I wanted to make this helpful video on how to learn whether the people you invest in have a real following or not. Hope you enjoy!” would be better received.

@MPRules no you don’t. People with huge followings IMO are skin deep. You don’t want people like this in your life. Very selfish.

You guys seriously spent 17:10 listening to this young woman? :joy::joy::joy:

I stopped at 1:26

But maybe she have some good stuff to share. I just don’t like listening to people complaining anymore.

Maybe we are all a bit jaded due to the forum we are on, our experience etc. But it would be an absolute outright shame If she were to get a few like, follow and comment bombs dropped on her. You know, a huge social blade increase of 50k followers, 50k extra likes, and 4000 emoji comments. An outright shame. Especially of all of those followers disappeared after a month :cough: :cough:
