Suddenly from nowhere my account can't receive DMs

Hi everyone!

I have an issue with my account which people can’t send me DMs as long as I don’t follow them.

I tried to change the setting on Privacy>Messages> All the tabs are fine.

Any idea on how to fix it?

I think you have to change your birthday so that you’re 18+. That’s what I’ve heard about that sort of issue.
