Curious if anyone else has faced this exact same issue. I’m assuming it’s a shadowban but it is still not making sense.
Recently when I post as always I tag my location and relative hashtags. If I go to check the location under the recent tab my post will show there. Check my hashtags and the post doesn’t show whatsoever.
However as a couple hours pass and I check my insights I see that there has been impression activity from my hashtags despite absolutely not being able to see them anywhere (the impressions aren’t significant) and for the location it’s as if the post is just non existent.
Pretty frustrating when both don’t show as it makes you invisible to the general public of Instagram but the location bug is what I have never seen before. Usually I will always rank as a top post for my cities location and my last recent posts it just doesn’t even pop up in recent or anything.
Any comments or similar experience I’d love to hear!
Have you tried to find your post on hashtag’s page using incognito mode?
Yeah, hashtags are acting so strange. If you look at the top posts on a hashtag it is low engagement posts and/or posts that have been there for days. It’s on every hashtag size

Is the content in the top 9 old too? Usually this happens when hashtags are down.

Yeah for example, the hashtag #luxuryhouses has a post in the top 6 from June 2nd with 500 likes. A lot of hashtags have this. It’s like a mix tho. It will be old posts and new posts in top 9. Trying to figure it out.
Yes it will be a mix of old posts and new posts, but if you only see old posts, the hashtag is probably down.
Edit: this doesn’t seem to be the case for #luxuryhouses though. I would recommend checking the hashtags from another IP address, just to be sure.

Not yet! I’ll try that now! What’s funny is the tag itself shows 4 posts (my personal branding tag) and you click it and only 2 show up.

I tried different numbers of hashtags going from 30 down to 5 hashtags. Might just have to wait it out. Seems like they are messing with the algorithm/api
