I have an account with 17.3k followers. My engagement is ehh … up and down from 600 likes on average to over 1.1k+ likes.
I was going to buckle down and increase my following another 13k over the next 6-10 months but then I thought, “instead of increasing my following, wouldn’t it be more important to increase the engagement with my current following?”
So my question is, if I dedicated the next 30 days or so to “Liking” actions only and liking the last post or two of every single person that follows me, would that be a sure fire way to increase engagement?
Has anyone already done this and seen positive results? Thanks!
At one of my accounts I saw a decreasing engagement after around 10k Followers and stopped F/UF.
I started liking posts of my followers and their comments under my posts.
Next I improved my hashtags with the dynamic hashtag tool.
Since then I have some kind of organic growth from 30 to sometimes 100 followers per day (depending on post).
And my engagement is increasing with my number of followers.
Some people have told me that deleting posts is bad, but I have been considering it so my feed looks a bit more tailored. My style has changed so much from when I first started. Pm me your account name so I can check it out?
I’m really interested to see if this feature ever came to fruition? That would totally help with engagement because you could essentially grow your following with great engagement rates at the same time, having only followers that engage with your content. As a fellow non level 2 access person, I thought i’d stick a screen shot of the post from another topic so non level two people could preview it and +level two people can access it here.
