[Tip and Tricks] How To Steal Other Page's Top Posts Everyday (Believe me. I know the best Post ♥ )

I haven’t posted in a while and I know some of you are missing me (Hopefully) :joy_cat:

I know a lot of you here are struggling on where to get posts that has viral potential and will ensure you better enagagement. I know I was, until I found this little feature that some of you might not know and I think this is worth sharing.

What if I told you that Facebook will let you see other page’s top posts so that you can steal them and post it to your own page for free?

Here’s the how to part.

  1. Go to your Page > Insight > Posts > Top Posts From Pages You Watch

.
2. Click the “Add Pages” button and a window should popup where you can enter your competitor’s pages. Enter your keyword and click the “+ Watch Page” button. You can add hundreds of pages as you like.

.
3. Wait for an hour or a couple of hours for Facebook to fetch the pages and add it on your Watch List and voilà, you’re done.

Here’s what it will look like in the Watch List Tab

You can click each post and copy or download the images that was shown there. You can also see the engagement and the date that the post was published.

You can be assured that the post that was shown there is the Top posts from other pages during that time period.

Wrapping it up

So there’s no need to purchase or subscribe to any other service to scrape top posts from pages as you can already do this for free using Facebook.

As always, if you like this post, click the heart button and let me know if you have any questions relating to this post.

Awesome tip!

Quick question: how far back does FB go for those top posts? A week, month, year, ever?

I sometimes get posts from 7 old posts but not more than that. Works for me though as I need good content every day

@euhero well I didn’t think of this, I do watch pages, though!
I see this process can’t scrap posts more than 7 [quote=“euhero, post:3, topic:5340”]

but I have using free API to extract engagements of any pages, dated back to anytime, so I might be writing on it ASAP

Nice share @euhero .It does involve a little manual work, but for high quality viral posts, that should not be a problem, after all you won’t be posting hundreds and hundreds of these, just a couple.
