It’s been a while since Instagram updated the application, increasing the limit of reel timings from 15s to 30s. But despite being on the latest version of the Instagram application, I am unable to record/upload reels for more than 15 seconds. I have reported the bug but haven’t heard from Instagram yet. Is there anything that I can do from my end to resolve this bug?

yeah, that can happen if IG did not include your country in the update the same happened for a lot of other tools, you can find some functions in some countries and not in others, just to make sure, you can ask a friend from the same country to try at their end and see how it goes.
Have you tried to remove and reinstall the Instagram app?
Click on the timer that says 15 seconds and see if it bumps up to 30 seconds. If not your stuck with 15 seconds until you get in your area. Even the states on some parts have only 15
Yes, I’ve checked for the same. In fact, 30 seconds reel are available on my personal account also. Which means it wouldn’t be something to do with country, hopefully.

In Germany on personal account 30 seconds are available but only after clicking on the timer on top of the buttons on the left side like @Alexnvo wrote. I did not know about that but was always wondering when they would come up with this function as tiktok has longer “reels” already. Thanks for letting me know
