Using my mobile phone as a hotspot for 1 account?

Hi, I’d like to run automation on 1 single instagram account (my business).

What if I hotspot’ed my personal phone’s cellular data to computer running Jarvee?

Have people been successful doing this?

(I understand this theory will only work when my phone is at home.)

Yes that will work fine. But why not just use your home residential IP for 1 account?

I guess I was under the impression that’s not a good idea? I have 3 instagram accounts logged in on my iPhone/computer, someone else in the house has 2-3 others on theirs… None of them are running automation or JV, but I’m thinking that’s too many connections to instagram through my residential IP…

You will be fine connecting your 3 accounts on Jarvee using your home IP :slight_smile:

You can add up to 5 accounts on the same phone in the Instagram app so if you want to be safe I would say 5 on your home IP should be fine.

If you do this @goofy
Keep track of how many total actions ALL the accounts are doing monthly. Doing too many actions on one account or 1 IP can cause those account(s) to get flagged and spread to the others if no changes are made :+1:
