it seems now that IG pushes you to logout and login (once in few days) to re-enable the actions for specific device, also something experienced in real manuall action.
SO
what is the purpose of this??
the only thing I can think of is to drive the clients crazy by requesting SMS login prompt? and if you have ip from 15km location it will not require SMS. maybe they know this indestry is based on global proxy? and this is how they avoid 80% of it?
I just think it’s a bug and not really something instagram wants you to do. It just bypasses the block.
no it is not a bug.
Ppl need to stop connecting 100B$ company and bugs.
I think that instagram has set a limit of number of action per session per hour. Depending on your trust score you can do maximum X action into the same session for a period of 1h.
Login Log out makes you enter a new fresh session where you will not see blocks. BUT doing many login logout will lead to an Account Compromised. This is my theory
I think they have a config that resets the session every couple of hours. When you login/logout, you’re antecipating this reset.
Not talking about technical, more on logic, why will they do that ? they know it is the same browser/same device id …
I mean, they limit the block to a single session, and this session is automatically renewed after a couple of hours. But if you re-login, then you’re forcing this session to be renewed immediately. Just a vague theory
Another theory:
IG runs many servers, and these servers don’t necessarilyl communicate with each other about every specific detail. When you login, you’re tied to a specific server. You may be blocked in a server, but not in other servers.
this is not it. no so hard to block you on any server…
Maybe it’s a way to clear you cache or cookies?
