“You can't do anything to interfere with or impair the intended operation of the Service.”

Any know the meaning of this? My guess was you are not allowed to use Instagram for anything other than its purpose?

It is a Term in Instagram Terms and Conditions.

I was thinking to run a raffle account in which I sell raffle tickets and host the draw live on Instagram live. Would this go against this specific term? Their are a few raffle accounts that seemed to be running for years.

I just don’t want to work on an account for it to get shutdown later down the line.

What do you guys think?

You should be fine. This statement, as I see it, is simply anti-ddos, anti-whatever measure. Essentially, you cannot do anything that would stop Instagram from its usual operation. Correct me if I’m wrong.

That is more orientated towards

“Don’t DDOS or hammer our servers”
“Don’t run large social media account operations”

Thanks for all responses! Can I ask what is a large social media account operation? Any examples?

Large enough to interfere or impair with their service :innocent:

I don’t know where you’re based, but in the US, raffles like that are illegal in all 50 states (unless performed by a registered non-profit.) So there’s that.
