It’s probably just legal talk for hacking or doing things similar to MIT (Man in the middle) attacks, altering how the service works by inserting ads via malware, but I’m just guessing.
Could also be intentionally vague so that they can apply anything they consider to be “modifying” the way the app or website functions, ie. automation and botting, or using third party tools to game the system. Any technology lawyers in here? I bet they’d know
