Anyone succeeded in changing TikTok account location?

Could you please share your experience how to change your location on TikTok?

@StalloneItaliano Why do you keep making new accounts? Having no views doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve been shadowbanned. Just keep posting videos, and try to keep it clean. It’s simple.

the sim already arrived?

From all my investigation according this topic, most common scheme how people act - they create new account if using VPN. Anyone tried removing SIM, using VPN with your old existing account?

100%. People are being too impatient and causing more problems for themselves. The algorithm just has to feel you and your content out.

I think in the grand scheme of things, you shouldn’t risk using no sim + VPN on your account. It only ever worked once for me, but still I’m avoiding it. The only thing that worked for me was inserting a sim from another country. Far as I know, TikTok doesn’t care about your WiFi they go based off of your SIM card. When I inserted my UAE SIM card (I cleared cache and closed the app prior to doing this) I instantly got content from there and even comments on my post from UAE locals. I don’t think the plan (postpaid/prepaid) of the sim honestly matters because TikTok picks it up regardless. Like the previous comments made above, people travel all the time. I don’t see why they’d shadowban you for that. If you use a VPN, however, that could pose some problems. If you’re ever switching sims, make sure to clear the cache and close the app prior to doing so I think. I’m waiting on my SIM cards. And honestly, I wouldn’t really make a new account. If you have an existing one just try using that. I assume you’d see the analytics would show you’re gaining traction from the country with the SIM card Inserted

probably you are right, I used to think I was shadowbanned because my views didn’t count everytime I watched my video, but probably was because the account was new and that was my first video, maybe they were still “processing” the creation of my new account. Maybe it could be this, thank you for your answer.

@Abdulrahman_Sahaf Totally right! I don’t see why people make new accounts for everything. I know digital nomads who normally switch countries every 2 weeks, therefore they use different SIM cards. It hasn’t been an issue so far. My only concern was if they detect that the SIM card and the WiFi have different regions, but I assume that’s not a priority for them. Happy TikToking :v:t2:

Exactly! Couldn’t have said it better myself. And I understand your concern, but seems to be working fine for you and I so that’s a plus! And likewise

Does this work if I want to listen to sounds from that country? Like if I wasn’t able to listen to a sound in the US because it’s from someone in India?

No problems in sounds you can listen to what u want in tiktok, tell me if I’m wrong

Hi :wave::wave::wave:!
I want to but a Sim card but will my tiktok still locamise me in the U.S region with an inactive Sim card?
For example if it had data for only 30 days, then after do you have to buy another one? Or to buy a subscription for every month?
Please help me out, I’m French and I don’t really relate to the French content, I would really like to diffuse my creations to an American audience :pleading_face::pleading_face::pleading_face:!

I bought it, the seller peached me how to activate it, I didn’t do it anyways, so my sim is inactivated, n it is working well. so no problem w that

Thank you @juanpa_ :pray::slight_smile:!
May I ask you a favor one last time and ask you where you bought it? Or anybody else for whom it worked? I’m afraid I’ll buy one for nothing because it won’t work :sweat:

Also do you think that one day, tiktok will start banning this type of use of the app :thinking:?
Imagine starting growing an audience in the U.S and suddenly getting back to where you were in an instant :cold_sweat:

! I have one more piece of info, I’m from France and I tried with a sim card that I already had which is Chinese. It worked but my home page went from French to English instead of Chinese :thinking:? I have no idea where tiktok thinks I am localized but apparently it’s English - speaking and in my recommended music there was “top music for Netherlands”, so maybe it’s that I don’t know :astonished:!

you need to make sure the sim is from an American communications company, mine is lycamobile which is the cheaper on market (I think). I don’t think TikTok will start shadow banning using another sim because is so normal to travel around the world without taking off the sim and just using local wifi. you should try uploading content with the Chinese sim and let know what’s going on w .
