Although I agree with you because it’s their time. But they are also complaining all the time they don’t have money and the best: “I don’t have time” 
But otherwise yeah, it’s their problem, not ours.

Watching TV can be instructive. For example i love to watch " The profit " ( Marcus Lemonis ).
And i learn a lot

Yes, probably I wasn’t clear enough.
I meant it’s destructive to watch news, reality shows and similar shows in tv all day (and most of my relatives are like this, that’s why it bothered me so much).
