Same to be strong got Follow Unblocked after 20 days when BOTH Follow & Unfollow dropped below 6000/30 
I have other accounts waiting to drop bellow the 6000/30 limit to confirm!!
Anyway I was very septic but seem really a consistent theory!!
Now waiting the the tool update to get back 100% to work 
As for follow through EB. Should we only do it when action blocked or can we for now till things settle down put it on only use EB for follow. It works for me with the EB. I used to reset Device ID’s and start from zero again with the follow and build up but blocks would return with some.
So what’s the best approach here?

I did it for all affected accounts with no issues, for some I had to do it twice!!

It would be good to see some leaders step in an just give some good advice. There are so many people saying this and other the opposite way… One person says it’s always safe, the other one says itls too risk bro. It’s confusing.
Right now the only leader is Instagram, we have to be patient and let 30/60 days pass in order to assess the situation.

The leaders or even the devs are not going to be able to give better advice. Resetting IDs are a known trust score hit to accounts and whether or not using them once or twice to clean up the blocks will be safe or turn around and bite you in the ass later on is anyone’s guess.
Use a magic 8 ball to decide if you do an id reset. It’s just as valid as the advice from anyone here in terms of whether or not it’ll mess up your account
Been told something is a thing and test it with your settings accs quality, proxies … is another
once you’re automating there is no 100% safe thing…
Just calculate and limit the risk…
and resting device ID is like signing up from another device so you can evaluate this regarding your case…

apart from the device reset. EB follow is just a good workaround till it gets settled down? And do you first let it try (and hit action block) and only then let it follow through EB when blocked or can you just save yourself the hassle and always follow through EB?
EB works for some people and some accounts without issue. Others it works temporarily until it reblocks a short while later on.
Every time you hit an action block on IG it also negatively affects your trust score and can lead to PVs/disables. Depending on how old your accounts are an API to EB change might not cause a lot of issues. New accounts may get really smacked around.
There is no safe answer to resolve this. Just speculation in terms of what has worked for some people but for most people the results are varying from account to account. So I’d recommend testing first on accounts you can live with getting a PV or a disable and see how they function for you first and decide on your own risk tolerance for the more important accounts.
I can live with disables aswell as PV’s (although daily PV’s suck no doubt). For me they are only childs so I’d rather get a disable here and there then the majority of my accounts not even performing any action cause of the API.

so how many follows and how many likes are you doing daily now?
I had this issue and reset id worked fine until a few hours ago. Then I enabled EB and got a huge one week block for every action. EB has resulted in action blocks for me before, so it was a bad move, but I just wanted to try and see if it would work. I guess this switch to EB after a block is flagged on my account or something.
What settings did you use? A lot of factors are important with this kind of blocks. I’ve been running 50/50 EB/Api.
Edit: can anyone with experience with the EB after action block comfirm this?
I just ticked the enable EB when action blocked option. I had set it to 100 likes/60 follows a day, but still had issues. This account used to do over 1000 actions a day for months before this whole thing started though. I guess I’ll just have to wait it out now.
I dont use likes anyways as it’s something IG has always been bipolar about.

While i have had that with the APi, i never experienced it with the EB. Still testing though
