Okay, well I guess what I’m asking is if there’s a guide for creating an affordable version of this that can be produced in a higher quantity. What parts to buy, how to program it, etc.
It really depends on your actual needs - for starters get a board like this:
ESP’s can be used for a wide variety of tings like this. The one above, while security-oriented (it comes with this firmware: https://github.com/SpacehuhnTech/esp8266_deauther) has the “Beacon” attack, which can spawn a number of AP’s with pre-set names
Once you have figured out what you want to do, a blank ESP8266 (or similar, depending on your needs) can be flashed/coded to reduce the costs per deployment
