Has this ever happened to you on Pinterest?

I am opening this thread to share my experience and get some feedback on a problem that has been blocking me for a while. I have been running three Pinterest accounts (fashion & beauyty) for the same project, all pointing to the same website, for about a year now, and I can barely get any traction even though with other accounts I usually reach thousands of outbound clicks easily.

After reviewing my setup, I think the issue might come from one of these points:

  1. Landing quality: maybe Pinterest sees it as low-quality because it is filled with AdSense ads.
  2. Language and proxy: I am using a Spanish proxy but posting English content.
  3. Competition: maybe I am going after keywords that are too saturated.
  4. Content match: I am using an automated scraping system, so maybe the content does not fully satisfy search intent.
  5. Market shift: I usually rank Spanish accounts, but this time I am using Pinterest Trends from the US, and maybe the competition level and algorithm behavior are completely different, so perhaps I need a new approach instead of just uploading tons of content.

Interestingly, one of the three accounts uses a US proxy and it performs the same, so I suspect the problem lies in the content or landing quality.

I got plenty of impressions but very few clicks, by the way. At the same time this account was getting lots of impressions, I had another one reaching over 100 outbound clicks — but it got banned, unfortunately.

These are the pins with the highest number of impressions on this account. However, the first two (“makeup looks” and “makeup ideas”) only got one click each in the last 90 days. Any ideas on how I could take advantage of the impressions they are getting? Or should I just move on and focus on other pins instead?

I am also considering switching from AdSense to Mediavine or another network, since AdSense results have been weak for other niches. If anyone has experience with Mediavine or knows what is a good first step, I would really appreciate your input.

Do you guys think these accounts still have any hope? Should I start new ones instead? Could the problem be the niche or the keywords?

Thanks in advance for any insights. I will share updates here next week.
