My location is in Singapore and it shows the right device being used.
But for the rest of the log-in activities which are in Romania (I use Romanian Proxies), the device being used is shown as Device and not Samsung.
I thought what would show is Samsung since the Api UserAgent is Samsung?
Lastly, I am not so sure about this, but I found this:
I am not sure if the limit on API Calls is also 200 per hour based on that documentation? And if being identified by IG as “Device” makes it clear that it’s a bot and that’s why no matter what proxy is being used, it’s easily gets detected and IG is just playing us around.
Still they are allowing accs to do actions so shouldn’t be only this, if you ask people doing automation since a while they will all they that IG knows accounts that use the tools already!!
The API calls Hourly Limit sound very interesting, but had made test with really few calls and still got random blocks, I will use dedicated scarpers to see if this will work!!
I am not so sure about this but to me, it so clear when I saw the log-in activities myself that it could be one of the reasons.
And for the limit of API calls, if the software is identified as a device, the device itself, (maybe, just maybe) has 200 api calls limit per hour as a software license regardless of number of accounts.
I have been reading this posts and just as my hopes rise, i read soemthing that destroys it.
I m sorry for my bad english.
I have few questions.
Before i ask them i want you to know that i tried to find answers that i would understand before i am asking now here.
What does it mean follow with API? What is API, explained in most plastic way possible?
I know Instagram made new limits, but its not all, they changed a lot, and still are changing, but can anyone tell me, so far, what are new max limits for:
follow per hour, per day and per month
unfollow per hour, per day, per month
like tool -//-
comment tool -//-
messages tool -//-
I know it is nothing official, but as its said that 6000 follows in last 30 days is new possible limit for follows, what is for other actions, and what is it per hour and per day?
Also, i have story viewer tool working for 2000-3000 per day and it works perfectly normal, and unfollow tool set for 200 unfollows per hours working perfectly normal for all acounts (100+ accounts)
Been lurking this chain for almost a month now, but just created an account to reply.
This seems like the most logical answer and makes a lot of sense.
If accounts are scraping for accounts to engage with that 200 limit could be eaten up super fast and lead to the API Block. It says that each device is given 200 calls an hour. So if you reset device ID, and the tool has already done the scraping, and now it has a fresh 200 Calls just to carry out the engagements. That is why it will temporarily work when you reset Device ID or move to Embedded Browser. It will work for a little then stop. Also why if you pause it for an hour or so and then turn it back on it will keep working.
I think the solution is to have dedicated accounts for scraping. I dont know that number of accounts needed, but once the accounts have X amounts of users/posts/etc… to engage with it will send those to the main account where the actions will take place.
Now I know in Settings there is an option to dedicate a group of accounts by tag to scrape more info, but I believe this is jsut when you are using the dedicate Scrape Tool and not for accounts.
Surely can’t be the only one who’s completely happy for the Like Exchange and Powerlikes to stop working, I’ve hated them for ages. Was just a cheap way to cheat the algorithm and get any content to the top regardless of how good it was. I’ve always had the idea it’s a bit of a scummy thing to do for clients anyway because you know you’re ruining the account in the long run if they choose to stop working with you.
Maybe this answers the API blocks now. A limit of 200 calls an hour. Btw what triggers API calls? Is it right that the more filters you do the more API calls it uses? I would like to be enlightened
about changing ID device on Jarvee, I have an email from them that date back to June 7 or 8
in which they clearly say to do not change ID device too often
Totally truth. They know and they’re just playing with the kids LOL but the developers of automation tools have being doing their job, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest knows too and everyone can automate there, this is temporary guys. Be strong.
It’s not publicly available, Jarvee reverse engineer the private API, between app and server is my understanding because of limits of activity on public API
I believe, in general, when you log-in is an API Call, search and hit enter is an API Call, Search a username is an API Call. Search username and comment on latest photo, API Call.
Api call is when your information is sent and processed back to you.
With my previous question, that i m still looking for an answer, i would like to ask also this:
Is it , by all i read, then far better to use embeded browser for all actions, instead of api??
