Instagram Follow Block - Mega Thread - Level 1 [SERIOUS]

Yes account trust scores is always an important factor!

So I reactive around 10 accounts yesterday on 175-225 follows per day setting. These were the accounts that were doing below 6k and have not been hit by the wave. Two of the accounts have run into block today.
One did 5204 follows for past 30 day
Other one did 3800 follows for the past 30 day

Hey guys,

Would anyone be able to suggest a good app/website that tracks your daily actions? I currently use Stim Social as my bot which doesn’t have this information. I thought of SocialBlade but it only shows actions for about the past 10 days.

Thoughts?

Thank you!

I was using instazood on 2 accounts that now have follow block for the last couple of days.

Important question:

Looks like this 6000/30 theory is the best we have and pretty much there, but have you stopped fully all your accounts that was with follow block or only the follow tool and leave the rest of the activities working (comments, stories, welcome etc etc)?

I’ve tested both, turn off all activities for some accounts and others leaving all the activities on but turning off only the follow tool. So they’re coming back slowly, for my experience looks like doesn’t matter if you stop the accounts fully or not, when it goes below the 30 days follow limit (6000) or some kind of number, it will maybe unblock the follow tool.

What you guys have experienced so far?

Edit: Also good to remember, many regular users that never used automation are getting follow blocks too, I’ve one client here that she is blocked to follow with her personal account and she told that she followed 1 person last 30 days

“Actions” in the narrow sense that we discuss here cannot be measured by anything other than the thing you use to execute these actions, as it refers to something done over the API. It’s a little bit like “how many API calls did the client execute”. Something external cannot know that number.

Noted. I did some more digging and found an alternative from within my software. Thank you!

No, it is not. Stop forcing it

I don’t think this will be permanent lots of people that aren’t using automation are also getting hit with follow blocks. Lets remain positive.

Look at this twitter post about some people being follow blocked https://twitter.com/loveydoveys__/status/1137002109306515456

lets hope this is temporary !! I believe it is.

I would love to be that hopeful but there is a good chance that it might be permament. We’ll see.

Be hopeful but at the same time prepare for the worse!

I’ve gone well over 6k on an throw away account (very aged) on Jarvee, botted for 2 years, and it’s still good. Mind you this is just one account but I’m pushing the actions in the name of sciences and numbers.

Going to see my my bud can pull anything out from his old contacts at Facebook and look for some kind of eureka moment. Honestly, this is a hail mary attempt, and nothing will likely come of it given how it’s been years since he’s worked there, but those folks do get chatty and something useful might come of it, as he has given advanced information before.

Also, on an unrelated yet very similar note, I do think this is a major bot crackdown, and a lot of innocent accounts are being caught up in friendly fire. Because something a lot like what we are seeing now, is going on with Twitter.

I’m actually really shocked to see no one talking about this, but Twitter is going on an absolute rampage right now with bots. It’s one of the largest purges I’ve seen in a long time and it’s catching a lot of false positives with non bot accounts being banned. It’s a weird coincidence.

yes im doing it now for the accounts that still block

Do you think they’d block the follow option for accounts without notifying the accounts? It could be permanent but I’d think If it was, they’d suspend the accounts.

Has anyone who has had multiple accounts (5+) blocked seen some accounts get unblocked and stay unblocked?

Got about 90 accounts blocked and about 9 of them working again since today. Very slow actions.

Got about 30 accounts that didn’t get blocked on doomsday.

Out of these, 5 were blocked for 7 days last month and all got unblocked at roughly the same time. These did not get blocked again.

Out of the remaining 25 account, roughly 4 got blocked in the last few days.

Side notes:

  1. No proxy clues. Using mix of Residential, Mobile, and DC and all got blocked randomly.
  2. No 6k or other clues. Got accounts blocked that started this week (below 6k follows) and accounts that are with me for years. Also got new accounts and aged accounts that didn’t get blocked. Totally random.
  3. All accounts are also used on the device of the client
  4. Only f/uf
  5. Got a lot of accounts that got the “Inauthentic bullsh**” notification all of those got the block for sure but not everyone who got blocked got the notification beforehand
  6. No clues whatsoever. Fingers crossed this is all a bad nightmare and we’ll wake up to green soon🤞

Thank you for sharing. It seems hopeful in that you have some accounts unblocked now, though odd that there is no clue yet as to why they were blocked or why they were then unblocked.
