Currently I’ve my follow actions blocked and it’s happened three times in a row and all the time the block was lasting less than 24 hours.
I’ve waited 24 hours anyway and as soon as Jarvee hit the follow, I’ve got blocked, however after the third time I’ve found out that there’s a block on auto post performed by Later.
I would say that this is happening also for actions performed from Later.
Once Later autopost, it perform a match between the scheduled post and the IG account post destination, to see if they match.
Later now is not able anymore to perform this match, because simply the post does not show up in my account, I guess because IG blocked it thinking it was an illegitimate action.
The 6k limit apparently may have a logic based on previous post, however, when the block expire you should be able to follow, instead you are insta block again.
So, I guess that either that action has been flagged as coming from an illegitimate source (I should try to follow from my mobile after the block) or the block does not consider the 6k limit, ie instead of set a block action that last 30 days so that you can restart the follow action, it last less, but since you have passed the limit, the follow action will hit the block again.
So let’s say none of these accounts come back, I think i’d escape to Argentina before I refund all my clients at this point, too many people on 6 month plans… I can’t afford for this gravy train to lose it’s wheels right now guys
It thought to start there, so I’ve opened chrome and registered my account, bam, blocked and locked out after 10 seconds, I’ve had barely the time to upload my photo.
The only way to unlock was giving Twitter my number, which I didn’t want, but I did it. I’ve followed from browser I dunno, 5-10 accounts, blocked again, request of identification via phone code.
Started jarvee with default settings, bam, blocked again, phone code request. Then I’ve lowered the settings and so far so good, however also there, I’ve the app installed in my phone and sometime I perform action also from there.
True. Though without a notification or statement? Perhaps the generic we are removing inauthentic likes and follows pop up was their notification, though the bulk of people here seems have all authentic follows (through unconventional methods).
I can follow it too… That’s really weird but a nice strategy haha. Block everyones’ follows so they test it with your own account which is “unblocked”.
IG guys are not dumb, I guess haha.
Maybe it’s a conspiracy… I will check their socialblade stats to see their growth
what if the problem is in the software’s !!! no one suggest that tbh !
maybe…bots are causing the accounts to look suspicious and thats what triggered ig to follow block most of the accounts that are sending api calls to follow !
they are fighting automation …
And about the 6k theory, what if they are limiting the api requests because they are launching a majojr update and they need a lot of resources? Maybe, once the update is settled down, they will release that limit.
My only accounts that are having issues are the ones that performed those 6k follow actions in the last 10 days.
I’ve heard from people who don’t use any tools or automation who are blocked. Though I also take that with a grain of salt because a lot of people who use automation claim they don’t as if it’s the Scarlett A of social media (literary buffs will get the joke).
let’s hope they find something or if We lose the Fight they will lose too so they are also forced to help in this situation !

Completely true! But, to be honest, I don’t think that this problem will affect us a lot. The only consequence in the long run I can see is that we will have to lower our actions.
But that won’t be an issue, as instead of putting 2-3 accs per proxy, we will put 4-5. And, as we are going to use very low settings, everything’s going to be alright! Or at least, let’s h ope it hahaha

Just wanted to throw it out there that i just had a Blocked account fall below 6000 (5400) and it is now working again at about 200 Follows per day… Thanks to all working so hard to help solve these problems. Hats off to you all!
that’s Great! but papa! don’t start with same settings make sure to lower the Numbers to be safe just because you got the ability of following again doesn’t mean your account is not untrusted By IG small actions will build up your trust again better than even losing the account!
it’s like Just getting out of jail and starting trouble with a taxi cab on the way home ,that will give higher chances to go back there!
I read in another forum (I am not sure if I can link it, so I won’t do it, just in case), where they are saying something similar: if you can follow again, you have to start the warming all over again.
They say that IG fucked up the trust scores and they are resetting them. That’s why there are some users that can follow agian. Also, they claim that in 4-5 days everything will be okay again.
And, if I am not mistaken, if they are resetting all the trust scores, that would mean that even the bot accounts will be considered as “normal accounts”, so maybe all the shadowbans will be lifted (let’s hope so).
I even have a few friends that were shadowbanned for 3 months and now, they appear in the hashtags, there is a chance!!
