UPDATE: I started commenting on pics, sending a few private messages and It seems that 1/5 accounts are doing follows again without issues.

I am using ipv6 proxies.

This makes total sense to me.

When I start an account from scratch I warm them up. It seems like all my aged accounts are similar to a new start.

The fact that Later etc have been effected suggests Instagram have messed up somewhere.

this explains that.

Guys, how many likes do you recommend per day? Now that we cant do much follow, to like after follow.
Which number for a mobile proxy, and which number for a 1:1 private proxy.
If some1 can help me that would be awesome! Thanksss

200-400 maximum

0-100 I would like to play safe at the moment

Interesting. Although Buffer’s solution is meant to fix a completely different problem, I tried switching back one -followed blocked- account from business to personal. After the switch I tried to follow and am still blocked. I switched back to business. Same thing. Not that I was expecting anything else but i guess this is all about testing (and sharing).

Yeah, but I’m thinking maybe they broke something on their end. They’re clearly having problems as Buffer posted that 4 days ago, which is around the same time of all the follow blocks.

I can’t imagine how much Buffer is paying Instagram and yet they’re still having problems. Just some food for thought.

can you post the proof please-- only because if this is true then it might well be that this how situation is just an IG bug! Thanks

bro, you’re asking as if i was the only one with accs like this, there’s people on BHW that have not even been hit with the blocks at all, @Jackson the dev of GMT2 claims he has 0 blocks too, go ask him if you don’t believe me.
of course i can’t be sure, maybe he’s lying who knows.

Quotes from another forum. Interesting

" I really can’t seem to understand why everyone is trying to find a key number here. Below 6000 or 7000 actions a month isn’t always the solution. We all know… Instagram and facebook have some of the best developers hired, and I am not talking about anyone but myself here. How the heck would I even compare my knowledge and skills to those guys!
I have more than 8 years of experience with automation. Yet still I would never call my self an expert. But I know one thing for sure. Instagram has made changes, and the changes are by far like the ones we usually have witnessed. I see everybody trying to find a solution, but all of our guesses and hopes are based on fixed numbers. As mentioned some say they are blocked at 2000 follow actions, some say 5000 and some at 6000 and others are still going and have passed the 7000 limit. I have heard of people not even botting who are hit by this. In my oppinion, there can be 2 things causing this. Either instagram has a huge bug in their algo right now, after the recent numerous updates they have made or else they have setup a rotating algo system. This rotating algo may be allowing you to follow 20 users one day and 50 the day after and 500 the third day. All based on what instagram believes is human like behavior. With all the data they have, they know exactly how much a normal user interacts during a day in general. And guess what. If they believe normal is 10 follows a day, then that is the rule. These limits will maybe be based on the number of follower and followings a profile has etc. Therefor you cannot find a specific number to stay below like before. This means rotating like limits… Rotating follow and unfollow limits and so on. Nothing is bonded to a specific or fixed limit anymore.
Personally I hope it’s a bug, but on the other hand, instagram usually announces major issues, either on their twitter profile or on facebook developer page.
Yet another factor is, these public forums are also accessible to facebook and other major social media platforms. It would be ignorant to believe that they don’t have people hired to catch up with all these ideas exchanged here and on other forums. Who says that we haven’t already provided them with a couple of great and free ideas untill now? :)
Maybe by reading this you might believe it is pure conspiration theory. True it is, but as much as all the guesses that goes on, on your mind and everybody else’s. I simple don’t think that the changes are small and easy to catch up with this time. Unless it is based on a buggy system only."

I know… I’ve posted it a couple of comments above…

It doesn’t matter what is the purpose of Buffer, like all the other information it’s possible speculate and make a connection.

In the Buffer article you can read that the bug that affected Facebook, could have affected IG API and that FB gave it for fixed in June 6th.

I use Later to auto post, and since my first follow block in June 5, no one of my auto post performed by Later on my IG account succeeded, instead Later didn’t have any problem to auto post on my FB business page.

A further connection can be done through this link previously posted by other users:

Particularly this sentence:

[…]Synchronous Block. When blocking AAS actions, the actions are not successful and do not reach users of Instagram[…]

In a moment of speculations, this sentence may explain why auto post from Later or Buffer didn’t succeed on Instagram accounts.
Later in fact to succeed in auto publish, immediately after the scheduled post, perform an image check on the IG account destination. The auto post failed because Later didn’t find the image on IG account, possibly for the reason explained by that sentence.

In conclusion, a bug that messed up with IG or IG rolling out a new system to detect automation, may still have sense.

Very helpful, thank you!

Is it only 6000 follows per month

Are the like, comment and unfollow considered actions as well within the 6000 per month or not?

This is my first message here very exciting to help in any way!
I manage 300 accounts since last year also gets many action blocks!
but I develop residential proxy by my own so I get blocked only in 20% from all my accounts
what I have done after is at first I stops them all then I slow all my settings add 1 rest day in 1 week
for now, it looks fine! I do 100 like per day and maximum 50 F/UF
slowly they start releasing from the blocks

please, explain how you developed your residential proxy. Thanks!

I still have every single client action blocked without Jarvee being on all week… I’d like think being on a different proxy would make a differance, but if we can’t even use the account through our phones, we’re never actually getting to the part of the equation where our settings would matter. I’m really upset guys, this sucks.
