the accounts getting the APIs blocks are always the same? if so why not try to rest them for 2/3 days then restart with a warming phase and less API calls!!
I’m doing a lot of test as well and from the data I have got, maybe it’s not a problem n tool or not only that!!

I guess the support response was pretty clear, they’re investigating it so we need to wait.
I really don’t think this is a settings or proxies issue and they didn’t talk anything about it.
I’m doing tests and no blocks with any accounts, just this AB here and there.
Did you do anything special to get your accounts unblocked originally? Or did you just wait it out @Itsyourtime? Wondering if there’s some setting or something I should be tinkering with

Another thing is like, I’ve customers that runs social media and some of them are using web browser automation and there is no API blocks so then I think, isn’t this a software/api/finger print issue? How can we be sure about it?

Chances are like 50% it’s related to the tool and 50% API calls & setting, we are testing to find out what exactly, and no one at this level can confirm with certainty what is really going on!

Yes, first of all, STOP THE FOLLOW TOOL. Some of our customers haven’t stop it since 4th june and they were getting blocks after blocks, check your results page and see if you were with the block lifted after 4th june and also check there when it got blocked again.
If it has de follow tool stopped since 4th june and isn’t back so than just be patience because it’s temporary.
try to use less API calls and go with very conservatives setting to figure out if it’s related to the software or to the settings!

It’s clear that is not related to the calls itself and I gonna tell you why…
I’m doing follows, like, like comments, stories views, stories comments and also welcome messages and the only two tools that get API blocks is the follow and comments and with very few accounts but it happen and can be with 15-30 per day or with 120 per day don’t matter and it is not with the same accounts.
The like comment, stories views, welcome messages and also stories comments get no API blocks at all, all day running just fine with the many different settings, even the harder is working.
How it can be related to the calls it self?
Can be Simply because IG chose to block only those actions that are the most effective for growth!! if we got like comment and maybe story views blocked, who really mind!!

That’s true indeed. They do and that’s why they’re doing it because I guess there is some fingerprints in my opinion but people want to believe that is related to the number of API calls, ok.

Setting up gateways and systems to block all these setting require a lot of ressources fro IG, so they are focusing on the most effective which is blocking Follow, Likes & Comment!
It’s like The Follow block, no one gets unfollow block even we overused it as well, because the most effective for IG is to block us from following!!
is all that we can do with a lot of testing to find out exactly what!!

I had one account just starting of, little actions and it also received a block.
Also some account were blocked when already running on EB and not on API. They did work again after changing to API, so the other way around.
So I also do not think that API is the problem, maybe they are just cracking down on automation and let me tell you how they did it (I think)
Everybody knows the block of 4th of June: limits changed, some normal people AB and a lot/ all of automation people get blocked. This way this was a perfect opportunity for IG to ‘train’ the self learning algorithm. They were almost certain that all accounts blocked used automation, so by following the change in setting (by the self learning algorithm they mentioned). The computer is now almost perfectly capable to distinguish bots from real people. So, this way they can block us easier.
Just a theory, but this is how I would do it if I worked there.
To be clear, I think it is not an API block, because also received blocks on EB.

Care to give more details about 4G versus Residential proxies?
Also I´m kinda angry with Jarvee, they need to be more vocal about all these issues and update at least weekly on the subjetc, this is the main source of income for them, but they keep too quiet!

In a very simple way
4G you get IPs like you are connected from your sim card!
Residentials you get IPS like you’re connecting from your home ip
PS: don’t hesitate to use the search console

Thank you for bringing theories to this discussion, without having any real facts to back them up.
No one here wants to be hold responsible for their inability to solve the situation and turn to the easy way out by blaming the software.
Anyone who has been using it for years knows the song and dance already.
And if I can do my part to avoid this toxic mentality against the dev team by sharing my positive experience, I’ll do it.
I know what 4G and residential is, what I was asking is why you think residential is better than 4G.
My brother is also automating and he has several accounts with the option: optimize API calls to do more actions, which results in more API actions, but he did not receive any block.
So if it would be the amount of API calls he would definitely be blocked. As he is also doing 300 follows daily, etc.
If you read only what back up your vision it’s not my problem
And don’t know why are you simply looking to the negative part of the equation, be more positive will make you happier mate
that’s really great to know, so, I don’t see any problem yet!
My exp with Jarvee is more than positive and not only with IG, by so far IG is the last source of my Traffic & income, and, I believe that the main goal of everyone who is reading or participating here is to find solutions not creating more problems!
As I said before I have no theories at this stage all that I’m elaborating is simple probabilities based on data I have, tests are still running!!
