Guys do not overcomplicate things you can use Firebase’s Dynamic Links, free and reliable, even the tracking is very good. Other services out there are free for the first 1000 clicks, not much, then you will have to pay minimum 0.01 per click, non-sense.
Try Firebase yourself, you are up an running in less than 2 mintues.
Yes, about a third of a penny per profile visit. I’ve never seen it this low so only time will tell, but the creative must be rocking it! Relevance score is high.
Definitely worth it! Be careful of what demographics you’re targeting though. As @paradox rightly pointed out, a large chunk of my 370+ clicks are probably from tier 3 countries, but due to the nature of it being worldwide there will be tier 1 countries too here and there.
Also I forgot to mention, I’m targeting the language as ‘English (all)’ which means it’ll only show the ad to people who speak English.
Hey brotha, so I have been running IG story ads for quite some time for growing a Art/Creative niche account. The lowest I have ever gotten followers is about $0.05 a follower. Sometimes we will get it down to $0.025 but now days we are losing like 45 followers a day.
So with all that being said, I am trying to figure out how do we run story ads in a way that can get that ridiculous follower amount you are. We are following every instruction you have above, except we are not using deeplinks.
Start using deeplinks man! Keep split testing ad sets with the same creative with different audiences, and also try going really broad. For example, people only interested in ‘art’.
Maybe even try switching up the creative as a whole!
Laurence is right. I’d start by incorporating Deep Links as they can increase the conversion as high as 50% sometimes.
Laurence also has a very good niche too as audience sizes for soccer/football are huge worldwide. Your creative/art niche may not be as large, especially if in a subniche.
You’re getting ~20% follower conversion off that ad which is very good. On average follows:link clicks is usually 5-15%. I think you could def improve the ad creative based on what I saw too!
Some of my clients have the majority of their audience coming from ads I’ve ran from them, and their engagement rate has not suffered.
Ads do have a ‘cool down’ period in which you’ll see much less engagement for a couple of weeks after you’ve stopped the ads, so I assume that’ll apply, but I’ll keep you updated!
I’m doing story ads too, how do you calculate cost per follower, like how do you know which of the followers are from ads and which are from other sources? I don’t see that analytic.
