I think mine was to do with my scrapers not doing there job and accounts were doing too many api calls

I have that same problem. But the main problem is, It’s only been a few hours since I opened the account, and I haven’t done anything against the rules. I don’t know what’s going on!

I have the same on a couple of important new accounts. I’ve gone through the thread and see a lot of people have it on older accounts/bigger accounts too.
Mine has been stuck in “Wait 24h for review to complete” for about a week now. No email received, no update received. I didn’t try to go through the forms and appeal contacting yet as most of you suggested.
I wonder if this is how they plan to get ‘bots and suspicious accounts stuck’ in the perma loop to get rid of them?
Or whether it’s a glitch and will be fixed?
Has anyone been able to recover from this at all? And in short, did you go through forms etc? Following instructions aka waiting does not seem to make any difference here.

I recovered all of my accounts in this state.
Just use this: https://help.instagram.com/contact/1652567838289083
fill out everything. You can only use an email adress one time and then “Unban” the account. It works 100% of the time for me. May take 1-2 days tho

It’s most likely because of the proxy/IP you used when you created the account. Even if the accounts don’t do any actions, they can still get disabled by IG it if it has been flagged since the beginning. I got the same issue on the accounts I bought from an account provider. Some of them had been disabled before I verified them in JV, and some others got disabled a few hours after I verified the accounts. There were no tools running on the accounts.

Okay let them review your account so that you can appeal then after appealing wait for some few days then visit Facebook for business and send Facebook a mail. That’s what worked for me

Is Direct Message matter to get banned?
Okay that’s great to know. Can I just ask how old your accounts were? trying to figure out of it’s mostly new accounts (as it happened to me) or older ones too.
I have 3 accounts going very strong without issues apart from some temp blocks, but those are all 2+ years old.
Yes, you could get banned if you send too many messages and people report your message. IG could also ban your account if you promote a website that violates IG’s policy,
