from 21th September to today maybe 5 or 6 times… always kept at very least 2-3 days, sometimes even more until I submitted the appeal form again. All from my notebook and iPhone.
Since it is my private account I appealed one time with another email from me since I wasn’t 100% sure which one I used for registration because it was 6 or maybe even 7 years ago. I only have two private mail address for my private social media accounts, so it’s sure one of them.
idk if this maybe could be an issue now.
Another thread here suggested to just create fake names and mail address and appeal again but that’s something I didn’t tried yet.
Yes you can without a problem, though not receiving the code for a specific account indicates issues
Just give it a try with another email, if the issue comes up there too, then the root cause is another.
idk this whole thing was anyway strange… because before the account got disabled there was apparently a hacking attempt. Changed passwords and a few days later I got asked for a security code which was send to my private number but it never arrived. Tried it a few times but never got it.
Then I changed it to my business phone number, security code arrived but account was gone after the 24h verification thing.
Will give a short update how it worked with trying different mail addresses. Thanks for the insights and your time, appreciate it
Getting it back as in being able to login to the account and having the username active. Even when I search my username it tells me the page doesn’t exist.
That is because it is disabled/in the process of being disabled.
After the review is done (can take a few weeks), it will be banned. You will have to appeal that account and might get it back in a time-frame of anywhere from 24hrs, over a few weeks/months to never, depending on how IG feels that point in time.
Yes, I got the suspicious activity 24h message on 25th, then after 24h when I tried to log in it said my account is disabled because I violated their rules. I tapped on learn more and there I could fill in the appeal form. Right after I got an automatic email from fb to send a picture of myself with the hand-written code. On 26th I filled in the same form again and sent another picture of me. Then I waited for almost 2 weeks and yesterday on 8th I sent the last photo again, replying to their last automatic message. And then after couple of hours they reactivated my account.
I actually gave up already, made a new account. But then thought I’d try to send the picture again for the last time. I think you just need to keep sending the picture…
