Perhaps someone can also enlighten me:
If I login thru the EB via JV, I can manually follow people and not receive any blocks.
When I login thru the EB via JV and then activate the follow tool, I receive 508 either immediately or after just a few follows.
I am using the same proxy.
So,it appears that it is not a proxy issue, but a JV issue.
The way that JV is transmitting the data to IG is triggering the 508.
It looks like it is a software issue to me.
Maybe I am wrong or not understanding the process correctly?
I agree, I think error 508 is a software issue. I can do the same actions manually in the EB, on the same proxy, but when I turn the tool on - 508 error.
True. Kind of worried to change though since so far all is going ok. Seems like some people have problems with API, others EB.
I’m also concerned about not being able to properly track sources’ follow back ratios
true, exact same as me!
Did you try with Human Behaviour On/Off? Same problems with Both?
Human behavior seems to work a little better, but some also receive blocks.
JV Update version 2.3.6.5 has basically been useless in eliminating the 508 blocks for me.
The update said it has eliminated the blocks, but not for me.
I see absolutely no change.
I have been working on eliminating the blocks for 4 months now and it appears until JV is able to get the API working properly again, we are at a virtual a standstill.
I think what @PierreDOlain said was right about 508 being related to proxies and actions. I’m on the latest version and I’m not experiencing any errors. The update actually fine tuned what little issues I was having.
I would recommend getting better proxies. You’ve probably tried alot, time to try less known providers or create your own. That’s the only way to guarantee clean IPs.
Edit: Disregard, as I just read where you said you’re able to do the actions manually on the same proxy.
I got my own proxies and still receive those. No need to jump on proxy providers
I don’t think it’s proxy but it could be. I’ve tried many providers and all of them seem to get blocked. Yes, I can do actions manually on the same proxy.
Well it would have to be either proxy, account, or settings related as were all running the same software. The only difference are the three things I mentioned. So I wouldn’t be so quick to write off proxy being related…
where can I see if I have 508 error ? I see none right now (on the red icon)
In your Dashboard Summary, whenever you get blocked it’ll give you an error code there.
I think you’re mostly running affiliate accounts right? So I’m assuming they aren’t aged?
I wonder if these 508’s are a rolling total (like the 6000/30 follows)? Because my proxies used to work for years also I’ve tried other proxies as well, still blocked. My settings are very mild (extremely mild on some test accounts) and still blocked. I’m doing all client management, that I’ve done for years and been doing activity for a long time for them.
Edit: I see your post below, that proves it’s not a young account thing.
I’m running all cpa and affiliate marketing accounts. It’s an array of aged accounts(4+ years) and newer accounts(3mo+).
Edit- Just to clarify, I bought them aged. They’ve been active in my setup since around November 2018.
Something weird is happening with my EB 508s…
It’d be action blocked, then I would relogin and clear cookies
I manually go into EB to run actions (likes, comments) and it would work just fine, but as soon as I put it on automation, BAM, a 508.
I will repeat the process a few times and it’s happening in a loop.
So why is it working fine when I do it manually in EB, but blocked INSTANTLY when its on automation?
Are you not able to do any actions without getting it, or just less actions then when done manually?
Same here (13 char)
They’re getting capped at around 5 comments in JV, but when I relogin and cleared cookies, I was able to perform actions manually (through EB in JV) - I didn’t push its limits though. I did it about 3 - 4 times right after each block, which is weird. For those that I did not relogin and cleared cookies and went straight back action manually, they get a temporary action block.
Some accs are working wonders though without any issues.
kind of curious, can anyone confirm that if you go to EB manually and do interactions that ITS EXACTLY THE SAME as if you let the J do the interactions? meaning… same IP and Device ID?
