yeah I have a feeling that we see 3 most popular from “profile”, “home”, “explore”, “location”, and “hashtags”. The rest goes under the “other” category.
Unless anyone saw more than 4 rows there.

That’s my theory anyways. Initially it will display “explore” once I get a few explore impressions, then it disappears. I know I’m definitely not shadow banned. I’m gaining 200+ followers minimum daily, upwards of 1200 on really good days. I’m using powerlikes and DM groups, so obviously people are seeing my content.

I did pay a lot of attention to hashtags. And the number has been always 30. I looked at where I got to the top and used about 15 hashtags of similar size next time. 5 hashtags were bigger and 10 were super narrow to the post. I had been using bigger and bigger hashtags until I got access to the updated Insights page only to discover that the number of impressions from hashtags was so insignificant it wasn’t worth paying so much attention.
So now I use less hashtags. 5 to 20

Let me clarify. If you make explore daily …and if shows up on insights — even say 2- than you see it no more, and likes seem reduced …odds are you are shadowed. If you have a winning post and see likes up way more than normal you made explore and not shadowed. If you don’t see explore in insights at regular times, your content did not make it. My reply was to state if you seen it at regular intervals and don’t and likes are way down, you are shadowed.

what power likes are you using? I just tested fuelgroups but it doesn’t help with hashtags as all because it doesn’t give impression or reach.

I have the same problem. I have 5% engagement at 90k, and I get probably about 10-30 likes per post from non followers.
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
I don’t post regularly though, sometimes twice a week, sometimes once a month.
I’ve already stopped F/UF and nothing has changed.

I have a theory that it has something to do with the incoming/outgoing engagement ratio, among a million of other factors of course.
Let’s say I receive 1000 likes per post on average and post every other day, it means that I get 4000 - 5000 likes per week. I’m going to try to stay within the same weekly range of outgoing interactions, the higher the ratio the better for the algorithm. Otherwise, it is considered to be the spammy behavior.
It shouldn’t affect you as much if you have a big account and post regularly since you get a lot of follows/likes, but if you have a smaller account and/or post sporadically, it will affect you a lot more.
My situation is similar as I don’t post very often (maybe once per week) but I did a lot of follows/unfollows and likes. Which means that the ratio is very low. Which in turn affects the visibility of my posts.
But this is a theory anyway

got it. Yeah, I tend to think now that my content just doesn’t make it to the “explore”. My original assumption was that I don’t receive a single “explore” impression, but it might be not true if the “explore” impressions could be collapsed under the “other” in the insights. Anyway, I don’t receive a lot of impressions from the “other” either.
Which means that the algorithm just doesn’t favor my content for some reasons. Which is a part of a separate conversation I guess

this could be possible because my other turned into explore within an hour of it showing as other

That means it was taken off explore. If it showed up on your explore but nobody else saw it it was 0. Explore if seen is separate because some of my accounts will just sometimes on slow days or real early morning will say 1 or 2 next to explore on insights

If you never showed up on explore before, it does not mean you are shadowed. It means you did not make it.
If you show up regularly and don’t see the word explore and
- Likes super low from normal
- Unfollow like a mofo…
high chance you are shadowed.
my experience shadowbans are caused by
- Using a banned/semi banned hashtag ( 95 percent of it), posting same ones over and over.
- Posting. 4 percent. Something Instagram did not like ( Sometimes stories with MP, causes P.V.s - now understand I run 2-3 accounts on a proxy, that is why. )
- Instagram bugs/glitches. 1 percent.
These are feeling estimates of percentage, not tested but seen and verified from experience.

To be perfectly honest, I am growing every day with good content hitting explore among all my accounts.

Yea mines do this as well but some times my when I post my other shows the impressions an hour later my other impressions are my explore impressions I honestly think instagram algorithm is probably just slow when it comes to recognizing where the traffic is coming from/when the post is showing up and it corrects it within an hour at at least that’s what I think. Mines do show other with explorer on some posts and others it do changes. Lately I been testing the Gary V comment method people claim it hurts your account but it seems it hasn’t for any of the accounts Im running it on at the moment I still hit the explore page with all the posts from the accounts Im going to test your method next don’t do anything just post good content then Im going to try it with an engagement group as well

Some days I would agree with heavy traffic. Most of the time accurate and few seconds off from actuality.
I do not know who he is, I heard of him but if he is on Youtube, I would use his advice with a grain of salt. With good contnent you will see results day 1. There is no subsitutute, None. No EG gropus, DM groups, powerlikes and all the shoutouts you can afford. They will be wasted with shitty posts, that simple.

He is a guy that runs a media company and work with celebrities on their brand then he got into social media himself and started posting this on social media and youtube on how people can help their brands when asked about instagram he told people to start posting 4 times everyday. and pick hashtags in your niche and actually engage with the content people are posting by commenting and leaving real remarks about their content he actually does say to genuinely work on your content and post good content. Everything you said on your other post he basically said. He also wants you(The viewer) to give a lot in the niche community to really build an audience
as far as the method I have gain around 20 followers a day just from the comments by checking results
another thing Im going to add is liking the comments on the posts and liking the post as well and see where it goes. but he basically been saying the same thing you said
