Make sure to collect emails with your shopify.
If you have an email list, you can email it and frankly tell them your scenario and ask them to add you back on your new IG.
But I wouldn’t give up on your original account just yet. Keep trying.

Thank you slinks I will do that and keep emailing. I just don’t understand how they can take it without giving me a reason. I’ve certainly learned a lot from this mess

If you already have 6k followers on your nail account that’s pretty damn impressive.
I would utilize your email list that you have built up and market that way.

Mail chimp is pretty easy, it’s more of how you use it. Start googling some courses on how to do effective email marketing. Don’t do anything paid, those are a waste of time and money.
Stick around the forum and participate and you can find some really good resources in level 2 and above. People seem to come here only when Instagram is down or their account gets taken away, but there are so many resources to be had here for FREE it’s unreal.
While your at it, start up a PInterst account.

Oh ok I would love to get to level 2 I feel like such a newbie but I can tell it’s got very useful info. I’ve never had to worry about all this marketing stuff because I couldn’t keep up with orders before but it’s amazing how people forgot about you when you are not showing up on their feeds

It’s dangerous to put all your eggs in one basket so to speak. Pinterst can easily drive traffic to your site. Reddit laqueristas can as well. Done properly, Twitter, Pinterest, FB marketing can bury Instagram. If you have everything spread out across those platforms you can increase sales.
Start with Pinterest and keep working, before you know it you’ll need a social media manager and some software.

It is mostly female, and people are pinning things they want or inspire them. So I would say it’s certainly a platform that’s worth a look at

Poke around level 1 a bit. You can market very effectively with the right tools. While social media is driving your sales, you should be filling orders and have it on autopilot.
I have so much to learn I didn’t even know you could have it on auto pilot. You guys have inspired me, I will definitely branch out. Instagram is the worst that they can take away your business like that is unbelievable with no explanation.

Hello, I had this happen once and just had to appeal using business documents and they put my account back up a few days later.
