Well, there are quite a lot, but I’ll try to be brief. The most important ranking factors on Pinterest are:

  • Pin description - it should contain proper keywords
  • Image name, should also contain keywords
  • Likes
  • Repins
  • Website Pin Origination. Pinterest prioritizes pins from websites that are often pinned from.
  • Board name. Keywords are important
  • Board description. Keywords as well
  • Engagement rate.
